The repair ppl that have came to my house was wonderful and understandable. But when I called sears on the phone I cant get a live agent. I dont like the automated service at all it dont answer my questions and it dont have the right answers that I need, it hangs up on me, I keep calling to get a real person on the phone and its no break through. I would like to get through to someone and get the right questions answered to my needs

When the technicians arrived and saw that the air conditioner was installed in my upper wall instead of a window, one of them immediately told me that they may not be able to do the repair. He thought he would have to pull out the unit and frame. I told him that was not the correct way to do it and they should only pull out the inner unit. After doing that, they replaced the broken part and the unit is working. It didn’t take them long to do the work. If I hadn’t insisted, they would not have attempted to repair the unit.

The tech ask my 91 year old uncle to call Sears for the part needed to fix his range. Why couldn’t he do that himself.

It is very irritating to get so many reminders about my upcoming appointment. I am very tempted to cancel my appointment. I know when my appt is. Date and time. Stop it! AND! They charged me over $300 labor to replace a belt on my lawnmower that I ended up going to buy at a local lawnmower shop. The Sears tech told me that part was not available. I drove to purchase my replacement belt. Highway robbery!

Mark called and arrived timely to my house...however, Mark is working with faulty equipment. Before he was finished working on my refrigerator my carbon monoxide alarm went off, which has never happened in the 23 yrs I've lived here. The alarm company contact me via monitor that the carbon monoxide alarm was going off and if I was feeling OK. The alarm company contacted the fire dept. And it was discovered that Mark's torch was leaking which leaked gas in the house....he admitted to me this had happened before and had set off someone else's alarm...this could be dangerous....he stayed until fire dept arrived and they examined his equipment.....I am a senior person and had to stand outside in the Texas heat until given the okay to re-enter my home...Mark had left at this point. Last Thursday Sears Hvac tech came to my home due issues with ac unit. Before Technician Donovan stepped into my home he inquired whether I had appliance service plan with Sears. I stated I didn't. He examined ac & heater units in & outside the house. Donovan informed me that the units were alright. He stated he cleaned unit & I was charged 330.00 dollars. I'm continuing to hear strange noise coming from ac unit when it is on. Yesterday I shined light into ceiling vent in living room & noticed some type liquid around duct in attic. What's moral of this story don't hire Sears to complete diagnostic work on appliance unless you have service plan with this company. Because if you do hire them without service plan the tech will not take time to fully determine the issue with appliance. Apparently technician assumed I couldn't afford to pay for repair if needed because it could be expensive. I have an appointment scheduled tomorrow with another ac company in area.

Rip off! All they want is for you to sign up for a home warranty-they aggressively push this the minute you call and as soon as repair tech arrives. They wanted to charge $650 to change the lip on a front load washer!!! That is absolutely outrageous. You could buy a new machine for that much while the customer service agent I dealt with was amazing and the technician was super professional. The cost was just stupid. So I ended up just paying for the guy to come out and tell me that I essentially just need to buy new machine when all I really need is a new gasket around the front of the washer

Technician was fine, except 1st appt was cancelled without any notice and had flown to Houston to be at the house, but no one showed up. Very disappointed and was unable to resolve issue. Was rescheduled without approval and unable to arrange travel to be available. Unexpectantly rescheduled yesterday without any notice as well. This is unacceptable and phone support did very little to help us problem solve. This whole process was a major inconvenience! Not worth the premium we paid if this is the best you can provide.

very nice technician. However, refrigerator is still not working. Sears did not fix the problem and did not check if working before left.
