Horrible experience with Sears!! I have been without a clothes washer for almost a month. My warranty company Choice sent these people out over 3 weeks ago. The first guy that came diagnosed the problem and said it was the control panel that was not working. He ordered the part and then a week later they sent a different tech who upon arriving at my house had a horrible attitude. He must have had a bad day already… he tried to put in the part that the first guy had ordered and my washer was still not working so he stated that he needed to order another part. He got frustrated because his phone was not working inside my house so he said he would order the part, he went out to his van, and next thing I know he was gone. When he went out my front door, he slammed it for no reason….20 minutes later I get an email From Sears, stating that the tech had ordered the second part, and forged a signature, as if I agreed to what he did!! Today I had an appointment that was already set up since last Saturday. This morning Sears calls me and tells me they cannot send the tech out but did not give me an explanation. I told them to please get somebody else out today and they said they couldn’t. First of all, whoever the manager is, they need to send the same person out and not keep changing their techs. How can you diagnose what’s wrong and then send somebody else the following time who doesn’t even know what the first person did?? I complained today to the rep on the phone about what happened with this whole situation and that I needed my $85 fee back and he said sorry I could not get it back and for me to call Choice Warranty . I called Choice Warranty and complained and they also told me there was nothing they can do and that I cannot get a refund. This company is horrible and they need to get rid of these techs who don't know what they are doing. My machine is an expensive LG and I have barely had it 3 years!

Absolutely horrible service! They sent multiple technicians over 52 days and could not fix my washing machine - which is less than three years old. I am exhausted from time on the phone trying to get a response on whether they are coming back or this is done. I finally asked for a refund. That process is worse than their repair service. Don't buy from Sears.

Our ice maker went out before Thanksgiving. It took four different repair people and 8 weeks to get it fixed. From broken parts being ordered from Amazon to repair people not showing up and canceling appointments this is my last experience with Sears!!

Diagnosis involved water valve that was not needed. The repair crew knew so little about the product they refused providing service because the built-in unit was not pulled-out from its enclosure. I’m fact all service was provided (by others) from the front which your technicians never investigated or anticipated. We rate your service a complete failure and have requested all our prepayment returned.

The reason for my rating is simply they (Sears technicians) could NOT repair my Bosch dishwasher after 4 attempts and ordered parts again for the fifth time over a period of 4 weeks. I finally got vexed and called Sears customer service when the repairman said he needed to order another part and they have to schedule one more visit. Customer service rep was convinced that they should replace the applicance instead of trying to repair. He made a claim with the warranty department and they agreed to pay the replacement cost towards the purchase of a new dishwasher. This time I went with a different brand than Bosch as I was highly unimpressed with Bosch. Sears warranty service should really re-look at their service model, does it really make commercial sense for them to order parts costing more than the cost of the appliance + labor charges + shipping costs? And at the end, a frustrated customer?. My suggestion for Sears is just consider the warranty contract like insurance policy, Collect from 100 and pay to replace a few instead of fighting an un-repairable appliance.

Sears breached their warranty contract and refused to repair my dishwasher. It was pure hell for two weeks trying to get them to repair it. Finally had to go out and buy another one. I recommend you never buy their warranty contract because a lazy service technician can refuse to honor and void the warranty. That is hundreds of dollars; a lot of money spent on nothing.
