I was told compressor needed to be replaced. Compressor was replaced. Repairman said it would take 48 hours to cool down. He left, but refrigerator did not cool at all,

I called because my freezer compartment on my fridge was frosting up and my ice maker was not working. He fixed the frosting and said that the ice maker would cost another three hundred fifty dollars. I was so sad and diaappointed. He was very nice, just could not do it I guess.. I knew that the service call was a hundred bucks and I called since I had two problems on that one freeaing compartment. I liked the repairman, he was courteous and polite and nice. If that is the policy, it should be clear to old folks like me. Thanks

Detergent dispenser door was was not opening. Service Initially was prompt, efficient and courteous but initial visit was wrong. When the needed part arrived and was installed the dishwasher then did not work at all and was left with the front service panel hanging on the floor-for two months with no further follow-up even after two "reminder" calls..

The service tech arrived, entered my house and said it will cost you $1,000. The service guy did not turn the machine on or even open it up to see what was wrong. I spent $90 for nothing- a 15 minute visit, what a waste! When I called customer service they stated another tech would come back out, still no call or no visit from the other tech.

Technician spent less than 10 minutes and told me to call manufacturer. He provided no report and charged my credit card upon leaving. Called customer service requesting a diagnostic report because the manufacturer needed the report. Sears customer service was very unprofessional and told me it would be at least 48 hours. Asked to expedite. They never sent the report or responded to my request. They have not sent a bill requesting payment again when my credit card shows payment. I can not get anyone on the phone in billing so not sure how to resolve. HORRIBLE customer service, poor business practices - I would not recommend using their service.

Very poor service,the technician informed me that he cannot fixed the problem because Sears doesn’t have the parts and is not manufacturing any more, but when I looked on line using the model number is available, He wrote on his statement that he informed me that if he worked on the washer will damage the floor and I told him not to do the work which is big lying, I didn’t see what he wrote in advance I would reject his statement completely. Now I ended with that he didn’t fix it or even wrote the diagnosis or the parts needed but paid fees for nothing but very poor service lying representative for Sears service, never again

I've been a frequent user of Sears Appliance Repair Services - multiple times, over the years. For this most recent job, the repair fellow, Marcos, was brilliant, and did an awesome job in under an hour. Sears - however - has recently made it impossible to reach them by phone. Everything is now automated, they don't give you the correct arrival time (it keeps changing throughout the day), AND, THEY RIDICULOUSLY OVERCHARGE for their labor fee by they hour. I paid $300/hr just for labor. Mindblowing. BEWARE, my friends.
