He popped new ice maker into place turned it on said there ya go. I said is it getting water? He says yes and leaves. It was not getting water. There is some kind of valve that is not feeding water to ice maker. Waste of time for sears and money, for replacement ice maker. I even said it to him...he never checked..his actual words were the light is on.

I am confused by why I am giving this rating when you said you were at my home; gave me an estimate for service that I supposedly signed that I did not. You did not even call or come to my front door. I waited all say starting at 8am for this????

Only came on Monday to collect a payment as the Sears system failed to work for a different tech on Saturday.We offered to write a check but they couldn’t accept it. According to the tech’s supervisor there was a nationwide problem with the payment system. We were told they’d email us an invoice so we could pay it.Why they sent another tech to collect a payment was ridiculous. It was their problem not ours. Told the tech we needed an invoice to pay from. The tech wouldn’t leave until payment was made. Sat outside our home waiting for confirmation that payment had been received like we were some kind of a criminal. Very disturbing and disappointing. Sears needs treat customers better and have a way for customers to make payments when THEIR system fails.

I have been without an outside unit since August. I would like to have it replaced since no one can fix the unit I have. This has gone on way too long. Please fix or replace outside unit NOW!!!!!

The sears home service program is a complete mess! There is absolutely no human to talk too to troubleshoot. It took 9 trips by 9 different technicians to repair an ice maker. Replaced all the parts 2 different times when all it was, was a frozen line. I had to finally threaten legal action in an email to customer service before they actually assigned a “case worker” to take charge. Doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. Don’t waist your money on this service.

Took my money knowing they couldn't service the unit. The supervisor on the phone left his two service guys hanging before letting them know that they would not even be looking at the unit. Knew that BEFORE they collected $85 from me.
