There's not a negative star category or Sears Appliance Repair would receive -10. 2 months it took to repair refrigerator after a botched repair initially. They canceled 2 appointments for no legit reason. Then showed up didn't give an ETA & didn't allow time to get to the door & didn't use the camera doorbell so I could have let them in. There's no way to talk to a real person and the AI agent took my info but certainly didn't get the tech to come back. Even when I spoke to someone live they didn't care to help or that they'd taken weeks and canceled the appointments. Never use Sears! The tech Micha was great though, kind, thoughtful, & professional.

The issue with my new Kenmore Elite top-of-the-line dishwasher is the noise level. It is clearly running above the 42db as advertised. I have the dB readings to measure that level objectively. The Sears tech manager today said it was not as loud as theirs at home and that it sounded okay to him, after two previous Sears techs had said it was much louder than expected. Today, this “okay noise level” was determined after an “express wash” run. He was unwilling to stay and listen to the dishwasher run through a complete cycle, which generates more noise. None of the techs were equipped with dB meters to measure the noise objectively. So, based on one person's “opinion,” I am left with a noisy and bothersome dishwasher that does not meet the advertised specifications, which I will replace with another brand, and will not purchase Kenmore or use the Sears techs for any maintenance

I need to speak to a real person. Every time I call for service I can only get AI. I want to speak to the warranty department because my unit is still under warranty. The tech wrote an estimate and I didn't accept it because I was on vacation at the time. But now I want to get the work done and I cannot get the service order. I also need the warranty coverage resolved. Very very poor service if you need to discuss anything. If you want to make an appointment for service and pay for it at the time of service then no problem. But if you have questions or are warranty issue you are out of luck. I'm very disappointed.

The service we received overall was poor not necessarily by the technician, although we can’t get a phone number for him and cannot seem to get in contact with him. Our daughter was home alone so we were expecting someone to reach out and give us updates and we cannot get any information. We tried to call Sears home services and the person we talked to told us information that is different Then what is on the Home Warranty website so we don’t know why our whole entire unit would have to be replaced because of a leak it should be able to be repaired. But we cannot seem to get a hold of anyone and we’ve asked multiple time for the technician’s number and they gave us someone else’s number named Louise.. And this says it was Kyle so I have no idea who even came out, but I know that we are not satisfied with the lack of communication and that we don’t even know what’s going on.

Tried to schedule a visit. Told the gentleman on the phone I needed it after a certain time. "Sure no problem! I'll make a notation to be there after said time" technician shows up 45mim early when I'm not home. Definitely won't be doing business with this company again. It's a stain on the good name Sears used to represent.

F i could give ZERO STARS I would.. I'd NEVER ask for their business. The lady on the phone told me one thing and the repair guy said another. I paid only because you can get fined for not paying.... Now I'm dealing with my bank. Updates in the near future.

The tech was respectful but did not do the job correctly. He took longer than stated and then told us our dryer would work correctly until we had the ducts cleaned as it wasn't getting hot enough. That didn't sound right to me because it was working fine before the problem but I told him I understood and he left. I then paid a company $200 to come and clean my dryer duct to still have it not heating correctly. When the second tech from sears came today he found that the first repair tech hadn't reconnected the internal dryer components correctly and that's why it wasn't working. I think the first guy knew something wasn't right but didn't want to spend any more time looking into why and it was his fault to begin with. And now on top of paying him $450 I spend another $200 that wasn't necessary. Super unhappy but glad the second tech today found and fixed the problem. I am also glad that he was honest with me about the mistake the first tech made.

Showed up later than scheduled. Once the technician arrived he was very professional. Unfortunately the problem was not fixed. After I called back to see about why it’s still not working they want to CHARGE me ANOTHER diagnostic fee to find a problem that should have been found the first time.

Tech didn’t touch my machine not once and just went based off what I said was going on. I still had to pay $140 for him to tell me what I thought it was. In 5 minutes he was out my door. It was a waste of time and money.
