They have canceled coming to look at my fridge 3 times over the past 5 weeks. Always cancel the day of, after I've made arrangements to be home. So very frustrating. If they weren't part of my home warranty I would never use them.

Sears Service Center was hired by my appliance manufacturer to perform a warranty repair. Avoid this place at all costs. -Impossible to speak to a human, everything is run by bots and automated messages -Scheduling is 2 weeks out -All day service window, between 7 AM and 6 PM -Waited at the house all day and they no showed -The bots tried to rebook another 2 weeks out, impossible to escalate to a human because it's impossible to speak to one BTW, the 1-800 number they will automatically respond to this message with is their regular phone number, again, only allows you to speak with bots. Unbelievably poor experience.

They only give you a 7am-6pm window. No definite appointment time. Repairman finally got to our house, repaired our dryer(but not really) a day later we discovered he left wiring exposed on the inside of the dryer! The repair cost was $550.00. Here is even the bigger issue. No way to make a simple return request to repair the mistake. It’s ALL AI and it only wants a new appointment with new service call cost! I never got to speak with a real person. So I made a new appointment, waited 1/2 a day Saturday for repairman to show up, at noon Richard (AI) text me they canceled my appointment, no one in the area to show up. Please make an appointment for next week! Poor service, dryer not fixed correctly, horrible customer appointment process, no real people to deal with. We are calling Grit Appliance Repair, real people , real certain time appointments, LOCAL. I will have to pay more $$ to get this repair job finished thanks to Sears, NO THANKS!! The reply? Go to website or call the number. It’s all AI , you can’t talk to a real person. No Help. Beware.

They cancelled twice and on the third appointment they did not show. I waited all day and never heard from them. I still have an ice maker that squeals so loud you can’t talk over it.

I wish i can give 0 star. They are not even owned by Sears, van has some name on it. FAHW sent these guys for my washer/dryer claim. Dryer, initially he simply said back side hose was cruched and I showed up dryer vent repair invoice. then only he started working. Just showing excuse not to work. Then he said he need to replace the heating element and ordered the parts so that it will be under the home warranty Threshold - not sure why he is trying to replace heating element when the dryer is overheating - very shady practices to make money. Washer, he said it need to be completely replaced. Then after half an hour since he is not getting paid to replace he sent a report to my home warranty that it is preexisting and now i need to fight with home warranty. I will escalate to TDLR & BBB to expose these scam artists.

Horrible service company. I would recommend anyone else, heck trying repairs from YouTube would be better. When their tech screws up a repair by not hooking up a wire, they either want $129 to come out or make you go through the manufacture. It wasn't LG fault the tech didn't connect everything or truly verify his work, but Sears made me wait a week to fix the problem after jumping through hoops with LG. Then you have to waste your time with a video chat before they will send out a repairman. The company doesn't bother telling the manufacture that little tidbit, they just waste the customer time. Use any company but Sears or be prepared to have things made worse or have your time wasted!

The technicians were friendly when they arrived. I have been waiting for a part since July 15th. It is now September 14th. I have no way to talk to an actual person. They have the part in their warehouse but have not shipped it to me so the repair can be completed. Their customer service is AI. The chat, the phone. No email available to contact anyone in person. Unless it’s an easy fix that isn’t under a warranty I wouldn’t expect a quick fix from them.
