Initial service appointment on 5/11 resulted in tech contacting the home warranty company about replacement due to the part no longer being available. Since then, I have received numerous texts about rescheduling the appointment, although my home warranty company was waiting on additional information regarding the appliance and trim kit. I spoke with the home warranty company on 5/13 and provided the information. I continued to received texts/emails requesting me to reschedule the appointment, which I did for 5/19. I received a call from the tech asking if it was ok to come on 5/18, which I agreed to, but the tech realized that he needed to reach out to the home warranty company. The automated scheduling system has made this process complicated and has not accurately reflected next steps beyond my initial appointment. Despite receiving a payment receipt for a repair that hasn't been completed, I'm still unsure if my appliance will be replaced.

Coupon code not honored. Technician arrived at 3:15 p.m. for 8-12 window after no status update from the chatbot since 11:30 a.m. I selected this service because of online coupon code and ease of scheduling. Big mistake because there is no human in the loop to help you get a real time update on arrival or try to apply the coupon code to the technician's bill (even though it was on my appointment confirmation). The technician was very friendly and did not recommend repair since failure was intermittent. Glad for that because there is no recourse if you have a problem with the service. Efficiency of AI is nice, but I'll select a company with a human in the loop next time. UPDATE: The AI response below directs you to a phone number to a chatbot that admits there is no live person available. BUYERS BEWARE You have no recourse if something goes wrong.

Terrible lead up. Sears rescheduled multiple times using Ai. It was awful. Repairman who came was fine. Computer driven process was bad. Bad bad.

Technician was very friendly, courteous, and respectful of me and my property, but after waiting for almost 2 weeks to have my refrigerator repaired, the new parts were installed yesterday but it still does not cool properly. I have a return visit scheduled for tomorrow. Please pray for me and keep your fingers crossed. There seems to be a shortage of qualified technicians and the technicians that are on staff can't provide to customer service needed to always ensure that a repair has worked because of the amount of calls that they have to sometimes fulfill. One technician that I encountered told me that he had 9 service calls to fulfill in one day. Hopefully after allowing it to run for 24 hours I can say that my refrigerator has finally been repaired after it has been inoperable for a little over a month. It is extremely difficult to get in contact with anyone of authority with Sears. I have to restock the new refrigerator that I had to purchase because I had to discard a groceries because of the breakdown and could no longer deal with the living condition ad inconvenience. After years of paying the monthly costs, Sears should find a better way to make care of my needs as well as the needs of all of its customers.

Tech left without fixing issue. This has happened before. He says a smaller person has to go under the house & now i have to wait for another appointment. He just left without saying anything. Why did he come out here, & waste my time. Not acceptable at all.

Sears home Appliance Repair came out to look at our dishwasher where the top rack was broken. The repair man found various things that were broken or not working effectively. He then gave us a repair estimate of over $1600 for a dishwasher that We paid $600 for. Little tiny plastic pieces to hold the rack together were $50-$100 each. It isn’t the repair person‘s fault but this is the most ridiculous experience I’ve ever had with any Appliance Repair in 40 years of owning a home.
