They came to fix our A/C unit. We know it has a leak and know it is low on coolant. The tech spent 4.5 hours and couldn’t find a leak and indicated it was low on coolant. So low that it freezes up and won’t blow cold air. We have a home Warrenty through choice home Warrenty. The tech told us he was approved to pour in leak seal and recharge the unit. He had me turn on the unit to run the leak seal through and to see if it would blow cold air. The heat gun was showing 80degrees through the vent. He said to give it an hour and we will know if it worked and then left. I got the detailed receipt and he never recharged/put more pounds of coolant in like he stated he was going to. And it’s now 6 hours later and still the same issues as prior to him showing up. A complete waste of a day off work. It’s July 22 and we are now being told we can’t get someone back out until August 5th. Completely unacceptable. I don’t normally write bad reviews, but being in a 90 degree house warrants one.

James was fast, courteous and informative However, He stormed out immediately after I rejected all his offers because they were all very expensive. The kicker was when I informed him that the AI assistant said $30 will be knocked off my $129 charge for a visit. He wanted me to pay the 129 plus tax, but I said I would pay him the ninety nine dollar plus tax.

This is the second time that you have been out for the same issue after four other attempts to fix my refrigerator and you can’t tell me where it’s leaking from and I’m still in the exact same situation I was before I contacted you. What the hell!?

Service was great but the labor charge of 321.00 for a 40 minute job was excessive. Not sure I would call sears back for a repair. I could see paying for an hour or so of labor at a fair hourly rate. Really feel I was taken advantage of.
