First of all my a/c was not cooling. I had to wait a week and half for there appointment at 1pm-5 pm on 5/14. I tried to call to see if they can come later because I work until 4:30. But you can’t reach anyone from their number so I had to make sure someone was home that day. It was misting rain all day he waited until 1 to call me from my drive way to say he can’t check my unit because it is misting. I was so pissed that I had to call my home warranty to get someone out here to fix this. And then I had to get another tech come out to look at my unit. Never heard from him until today 5/30 got a text saying my schedule appointment is today from 1-5pm. text the same tech that he don’t need to come to my house because it is fixed already. he still showed up at my driveway to call me that he did not see my text until he got to my house. Really not professional at all.

Thank you for your efforts, however the same issue has occurred and now 10 days later no customer service can be reached nor efforts to help regarding your previous Tech didn't solve the issue! Food is wasted Thank you for terrible response and service.

They are totally incompetent, took over 6 weeks to get my washer repaired. The tech came out this morning and replaced the circuit board that was bad. He never tried the washer to see if it worked. After he left my wife did a load of laundry and it only puts out cold water, even when the dial Is on hot and I looked behind the washer and there is a wire hanging out the back that was not plugged into the circuit board. I will never let anyone from the company into my house to repair anything ever again. Find a different company.

My experience with SEARS Home Repair has been extremely disappointing to say the least. I feel compelled me to write this review to caution potential customers. I own an LG frontload propane dryer that malfunctioned in mid-March. Urgently needing repairs, I contacted Sears Home Repair after finding their service online, appreciating their weekend availability. My initial interaction involved an overseas call center, but I was pleased they quickly scheduled a technician for March 18. The technician arrived as planned and identified a part replacement was necessary but also suggested an additional cleaning service for the washer, which we agreed upon. However, no repair estimate or documentation detailing the diagnosis was provided, which was the beginning of an ongoing issue. After a week of drying laundry on every available surface for my family of six, I had received no updates. My follow-up calls over several more days finally connected me with a native English speaker who shockingly inquired if I had even had a visit from their technician, as there were no records of the prior appointment. They suggested scheduling another diagnostic visit. Before I could confirm, the call unexpectedly dropped, and subsequent attempts to reconnect were thwarted by a labyrinth of automated phone prompts that led nowhere. Frustrated, I made another call on March 29 to set a new appointment for April 1. Sadly, this appointment was a no-show by the technician, who had called earlier to inquire about parts that were never confirmed to be ordered. No further communication from Sears followed, and my subsequent call led to a supervisor claiming they were awaiting our notification that parts had arrived—a bewildering claim since we had no information about any ordered parts and they had already stated that they didn’t know which parts were needed since there was no documentation from the previous technician who allegedly abruptly moved out of state right after our initial appointment. Nearly two weeks later (5 weeks since the initial trouble call), and after receiving bills for the unfulfilled service, I have yet to hear back from anyone at Sears Home Services. I am certain that I never would if I just left things alone at this point. I have since hired another company who successfully diagnosed and repaired my dryer. This ordeal not only wasted my time and disrupted my home but also showed a severe lack of professionalism and customer care from Sears Home Repair. There’s no way I’m paying these invoices for services that were never performed, but unfortunately it’s going to take even more of my time to deal with getting the invoices removed. They appear to be extremely disorganized with no meaningful communication or follow-up between the overseas call center, local branch (if there actually is one) and the customer. I advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere to avoid similar frustration and incompetence.

Awful. Had an appointment scheduled. Took time off to be there for the technician. No call no show. Try to call the main Sears repair number, wait times can exceed an hour and a half to reach someone. No apology. No explanation. No one ever came back.

My technician was exceptional but I am astonished at the price. He spent maybe 10 minutes getting the tip of a drawstring that was stuck in a slot around the drum. I was aware of the flat $99 service call fee but I was charged an additional $216.73 for the repair. Highway robbery and I won’t be using Sears again.

This company is terrible and I've been told they only hire technicians who can't get hired anywhere else. They replaced the compressor in my refrigerator twice, and each time it broke the day after replacement. The third time the compressor broke, they denied fault and said they wouldn't do anything about it. I had a technician from a different company come out and look at it, and he said that the compressor was improperly installed. There's no way to get in touch with a supervisor or manager at Sears, so a lot of wasted time and money later, I still have a refrigerator that doesn't work.
