This technician has no idea what he's doing . He came here and the pan under the unit in the Attic was full of water because the float switch had turned it off. I'm in the industry where I understand this stuff and the float switch is there to tell you the pan is full, to turn it off because the unit should not be producing that much water. They want you to have to go up there and deal with the problem. All he did was raise the float and leave. He didn't drain the pan, he didn't look for any other issues and this is the second time he's been here for the same issue. He should have further evaluated to see what the issue was that's causing all the extra condensation that's not going out through the condensate drain line to accumulate in the pan. I'm very very disappointed in the quality of service that was given. I would like to have someone besides this particular technician because I don't think he knows what he's doing. I've contacted Choice Home Warranty about my disappointment. They understood my aggravation, cancelled this companies return trip and reassigned it to another company.

Repairman just said it was fixed and left. He did not verify the A/C was blowing cold air. There is no air flowing out of the vents. So it would appear the repair was not successful in fixing the problem.

Technician was 3 hours late with no notice given and he did NOT give me an estimate before fixing the issue. He gave me an “estimate” after he was finished… $450 for 45 min of labor.

Tried to charge 189.00 just to look at my dryer to see what was wrong in addition to 99.00 fee just to come to the house. Then wanted charge $300.00 for part totalling to over$579.00 . Bought new dryer for less than these charges. Charges were excessive. Would not recommend this company or repairman to anyone.

The technician GLEN was nice . The service was TERRIBLE!!! It took ( 7-DAYS ) just to add coolant to my HVAC unit . When I tried to get contact the company . Ever day I called a COMPUTER answer. I had NO!! (AIR ) for 7 days with a kid in the house. WORST REPAIR EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE !! I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND SEARS REPAIR !!!!!!!!!! - 00 STARS

0 stars. Terrible service! Been without A/C almost a week with temperatures above 90 degrees (with an infant and small child). The technician did NOT call as promised and showed up to the wrong part of the duplex. Cancelled the appointment and marked as ‘not home’. Now will have to wait to be re-scheduled and HOPE they call and/or follow the directions to come to the correct place.

While their technician was good, their operations & management are horrible. You can't speak to a live person, you must go thru AI. It took me about 30 minutes of trying until somehow I was able to speak to a live person. Even then, they could not resolve the problem I had which was approving the repair estimate. I finally gave up & went to a different company. If it is that hard to approve a repair which means more money for Sears, then they obviously have a different business model & don't care about their customers or growing their business. Just responding to the comment below from Sears. I tried working this issue out by going to their website & calling the 800# below but still could not talk to someone who help resolve this issue & get my repair approved. I think I went the extra effort to give Sears my business but as stated above, they don't seem interested in keeping me as a customer & increasing their revenue. Again, taking this much effort shouldn't ever be the case for e service operation.

First of all you can NEVER speak to a human being with this company. In the past it has never been an issue. My home warranty hires the service out to Sears Appliance Repair and we have had several great experiences in the past with excellent service. Last week, we had a repairman come and diagnose our dishwasher and order a part. He was courteous and was helpful and asked a lot of questions determine what was wrong. The second repairman (Mike) who came to install the ordered part was not only rude to both my husband and me, but he bad mouthed his co-worker (who inadvertently ordered the wrong part) and then did not reinstall our dishwasher correctly. I tried in vain to call and request another technician come for the rescheduled appointment. When he called me to let me know he was at my home, he was rude to me again. I declined his services and tried again to call and discuss the issue with Sears. I do not like to give bad reviews, choosing instead to handle issues with a person. Unfortunately this is not possible with this company. Beware. UPDATE: After 10 appointments and the home warranty company getting involved, 2 parts (the correct part was returned by the incompetent person and then reordered again), 2 months later my dishwasher is fixed. The second to last repair person gouged my floor and did not mention it before he left. The supervisor ignored my husband when he pointed it out. Sadly, this was a very bad experience.
