First of all you can NEVER speak to a human being with this company. In the past it has never been an issue. My home warranty hires the service out to Sears Appliance Repair and we have had several great experiences in the past with excellent service. Last week, we had a repairman come and diagnose our dishwasher and order a part. He was courteous and was helpful and asked a lot of questions determine what was wrong. The second repairman (Mike) who came to install the ordered part was not only rude to both my husband and me, but he bad mouthed his co-worker (who inadvertently ordered the wrong part) and then did not reinstall our dishwasher correctly. I tried in vain to call and request another technician come for the rescheduled appointment. When he called me to let me know he was at my home, he was rude to me again. I declined his services and tried again to call and discuss the issue with Sears. I do not like to give bad reviews, choosing instead to handle issues with a person. Unfortunately this is not possible with this company. Beware. UPDATE: After 10 appointments and the home warranty company getting involved, 2 parts (the correct part was returned by the incompetent person and then reordered again), 2 months later my dishwasher is fixed. The second to last repair person gouged my floor and did not mention it before he left. The supervisor ignored my husband when he pointed it out. Sadly, this was a very bad experience.

What a waste of time. They were supposed to be here yesterday so we waited around all day but no-one showed up. Then we get a message that they would be here this morning at 8 a.m and they were now. We kept getting messages every hour saying they would be here at this time. Well finally at 3 p.m I get a call that they are on the way. Then when he gets here he said since he couldn't fine the model or serial number there was nothing he could do. We have a Frigidaire that's about 20 years old. The model was listed on the inside bit the serial number was missing. So he packed his thi as up and said the warranty company was gonna have to send somone else. No happy with us having to wait. The fridge started leaking Friday morning and we have had to wait this long just to be told another company has to come out. We are not happy.

Dealing with Sears was the worst experience ever. They are unprofessional and unreliable. They will cancel your appointment last minute. Over the last 2 weeks I have went through hell trying to get my oven fixed. I would not recommend to use their services! I give a 0 out of 5

Very poor customer service. Could not get a straight answer from anyone. Super poor communication. Kept getting transferred to people who seemed to have zero awareness of any prior call. Was told someone would be in touch to arrange same day service within an hour- never heard back. Called again and the representative made it sound like they didn’t have success finding anyone, so just didn’t call me back. Next person I spoke with had no clue about any of my prior calls. Transferred to another person who made it sound like they had never even filed a request. Each person I spoke with made me repeat ALL my personal details. The final person I spoke with didn’t even know that it was our fridge that we were inquiring about. Disorganized and a complete waste of time. Can’t vouch for the quality of their repairs, because never got there.

Tech didnt know what he was doing. Dryer had a bad thermal fuse, accessible from the front of the dryer. He refused to repair, claiming that he was unable to do so because he wasnt allowed to move the dryer, because it sat in a 1 inch drip pan. Totally poor service, a waste of time.

I called at 8 this morning to make an appointment and I was told that somewhat could come out today between one and five. So I took the day off work so I could be home to meet the service technician. I never heard from anybody by phone or text. I called them at 4:15 to see if I was still on the schedule for today. They advised me that he may or may not show up and then he asked me if I would be interested in buying their monthly maintenance plan, which I was shocked that he asked me since my appointment today was a no show. I was thinking why would I even consider it with them not showing up. Very very disappointed with Sears will definitely not use them again or recommend them to anybody!!!!
