My technician was exceptional but I am astonished at the price. He spent maybe 10 minutes getting the tip of a drawstring that was stuck in a slot around the drum. I was aware of the flat $99 service call fee but I was charged an additional $216.73 for the repair. Highway robbery and I won’t be using Sears again.

This company is terrible and I've been told they only hire technicians who can't get hired anywhere else. They replaced the compressor in my refrigerator twice, and each time it broke the day after replacement. The third time the compressor broke, they denied fault and said they wouldn't do anything about it. I had a technician from a different company come out and look at it, and he said that the compressor was improperly installed. There's no way to get in touch with a supervisor or manager at Sears, so a lot of wasted time and money later, I still have a refrigerator that doesn't work.

If I could give them a zero I would! The worst experience I've ever had with a appliance home warranty protection plan. I purchased the warranty online from Sears . Please do not waste your precious time or money on the worthless policy they are selling to innocent unknowing hard working people who truly trusted Sears to stand by their services.
