Awful service repair - My refrigerator stopped working the first week of August & the first appointment to have a repairman to come out was September 14. Approximately 5 weeks later. I had to go over a month without the use of a major appliance from Sears before anyone came out to check & repair. Sears did give me a small dorm size refrigerator which can only hold very few things. When the repairman did come out, he said he would have to order parts. Now I'm having to wait until Oct 10 th for a Sears repairman to install parts. So we're looking at almost 2 1/2 months before it's repaired. It is not only under regular warranty but also under the maximum maintenance plan available. I've been buying Sears appliances, tools, etc... for over 30 years but I will no longer recommend it's products or services to anyone. I've never experienced a service as bad as this.

4 months and no repairs cancelled 5 appts (taking a day off work for each appt) the service people simply don't show up and claim they did. this happened on 2 appointments the other 3 they called at 4pm and said they had to reschedule. I have been calling since MAY it is now one week from October to have an air conditioner repaired. (YES THE ENTIRE SUMMER IN SOUTH CAROLINA WITH NO AC) SEARS claims they have to try to repair the unit 4 times on site before they will replace in 90 days i have not been able to get them to show up once in 90 days much less 4 times. cancelled appointments don't count however the 2 appointments that they simply didn't show up do count because the tech claimed they did service. DON'T DO IT JUST DON'T BUY FROM SEARS and if you do what ever you do DON"T buy the "in home service repair" worst service ever and even better you get an attitude from the folks in the Philippines when you call. which by the way you will spend hours on the phone being transferred and disconnected on every skipped or missed appointment. it is no shock at all that sears is going out of Business such a shame. I have this contract on three (3) ac units as the contracts cost almost as much as the AC unit itself one would think if they had to replace one they still made the money. it is by far the biggest scam i have ever been involved with to date STAY AWAY FROM SEARS

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My claim was denied because they were told the door was warped so not considered normal wear and tear. The door is not warped; the handle simply fell off!

Service Tech was very nice and courteous, but this was the 4th visit and the refrigerator is still not working. Have been without a refrigerator since the end of July. Have to wait weeks to get service and then it is not fixed. Refrigerator was a Kenmore Elite and was only 14 months old when it stopped working. Will never buy anything again from Sears. They have no sense of urgency and do not stand behind their products! Will only pay $500 for a replacement. Wrote this review about 3 weeks ago. Got a response from Sears to email them my name and account phone number and they would get back with me. I did that and guess what? Sears never responded and I have not heard from them. Pretty typical as that was the non- response I got when trying to get the refrigerator serviced and repaired. Would be very very cautious before buying any major appliance from Sears!!

I feel it unfair to score a 1 star if 0 was possible that's what Sears would get, especially the customer service department specifically Simon . He was so unbelievably rude and unconcerned. Our technician I give a 5 star. 5 visits for replacement parts that cost way more than replacing the new Kenmore door in door fridge. Then a brand new stove/ oven delivery the same day with a blown out bottom. Needless to say I will NEVER visit a Sears online or in store again.

I am a property manager and explained that when I booked the appointment. Tech never called me to discuss issue and talked to tenants instead (college students) He told them what the charge would be so they declined. When I called back to the service department, I was told that they didn't have any notes from the tech and that I had declined services. I asked for a supervisor and was hung up on. Called back and was told that since repairs were declined, I would have to pay an additional $89 for them to come back out plus repair cost. No one speaks English in their call centers. I will never call Sears for ANY repair.

scheduled for annual maintenance of bottom loader fridge. I expected coils to be vacuumed off, temp checked, to be sure cooling to proper temp, check drain to be sure that was clear, etc. NOTHING like that was done. Technician stuck a brush under the fridge swiped it a few time and left. I could have easily done what he did. Technician very, very pleasant, however, if what was preformed is considered "annual maintenance" that's stretching it.
