I have a chemical smell that’s been in the fridge since we had it. LG.. After 10 box’s of arm and hammer and 50$ worth of charcoal deodorizer the “TECH” came to the house and spent 20 min agreeing there was a smell, which gets into all of our food, and cannot eat it. Including the ice. After he called 2 people, I assume higher ups he told me to put newspapers in the fridge, never diagnosed the problem, never took a tool out and never pulled the fridge out, and then he bangs me 89$ and told me to have a nice day, no wonder Sears are going under, I’m not done with this yet.. DONT USE SEARS. Be Warned

3 visits to get one appliance fixed. Techs just dont care anymore.

The technician that estimated our repair said we needed TWO technicians to pull our wall oven out and install a new sensor. Two technicians came to our house. One tech installed the sensor, the oven was NOT moved, the second tech stood by and watched and it took less than twenty minutes. We were charged $260 labor for two technicians and Sears Appliance Repair refuses to refund any of the labor cost. Hire someone else!

Too bad “0” is not an option! Sears would not fix my refrigerator! I has been a month since my refrigerator worked. They could not come to my home in a timely manner so they authorized me to hire a local company, a third party vendor. I did. Third party vendor came, needed parts, called sears, who assured him they would order the proper parts and overnight them for repairs. The Sears rep advised ‘I am a parts specialist, I am confident in the parts you need, I will order and send so there is no confusion. ‘. Third party vendor received the part brought it to my home. The plug for the circuit board was different, but he had been assured from the “specialist” this was the part. So…he retrofit the plug to fit into the new board. Does not work! He is at a loss…part doesn’t fit, sears tells him it is the right part. Sears repair comes to my home. Four hours later he determines the best course of action is just to order all new parts. I need to call and reschedule when parts are delivered. Parts received, second Sears repairman comes to my home. He advises the first guy messed up when he tried to put the wrong board into the refrigerator. Yes… the one the “specialist” assured him was the correct part! He wont touch it! Over 10 hours spent on hold over 2 days…my refrigerator still does not work, and sears refuses to do anything about it. Finally got a call from the representative for the warranty I purchased. They contacted sears who told them they would not touch it. Warranty rep sending a different local vendor to assess the repairs. Sears “specialist” should not be in that position! And should be responsible for giving bad information and assuring someone they are getting the correct part! They should at minimum take the responsibility for the repair or give the first guy the proper parts to complete the repair! Instead of walking away and pushing me off! Done with Sears’s! I will say the two sears repairmen that came to my house were my best experience with sears. They were nice men.

Never had a worse experience with any repair service. 4 reschedules. 4 times at my house without repairing the 4 year old Kenmore refrigerator. I will never buy another product from sears, Kenmore, or LG ever again and I hope you do not as well.

Well my Kenmore fridge is 8 months old and still under factory warranty. Took 2 weeks to get Sears Home Services to get the repair ticket opened correctly for no charge warranty repair. Sears uses A & E Factory Repair in Myrtle Beach SC. We are now 7 weeks into trying to get a certified technician to come to the house to diagnose and repair it. You have to deal with a call center that is offshore somewhere and never get to speak to a USA based service agent. I had to rate this 1 star since there are no zero stars. Can you tell that I will never buy another Sears product?

I asked for freezer repair, and the tech checked mother board, which was defective. That repair occurred May 14, 2021. He said it would take a couple of days for the freezer and refrigerator to be back to normal. After 2 days, the refrigerator was only 56 degrees. It is now August 12, 2021, and they have failed to repair the refrigerator that they damaged. I am not sure where they 4 star reviews come from, but I believe they don't submit all the reviews, so the rating is skewed. They made me wait almost 4 weeks for parts, that obviously didn't fix the problem. This repair service is not to be trusted. Now they just send techs but no body orders parts.....I haven't been able to keep perishables for weeks, and the call center just gives the canned speech and doesn't do what they say they will do. I have experienced this lack of courtesy after calling up to 20 times over this time frame and can't get anyone to speak with me.

waited 2weeks for repair after talking to sears service tech on phone (cost $39.99) could only be 3 problems according to error code. Tech came out no parts waited 2 more weeks for fan motor, refrigerator stop working now have to wait 2 more weeks for tech who probably won't come with parts

The technician was very nice and told me the noise was probably my agitator coming loose. It required 4 small plastic clips worth less then a dollar and it took him 10 minutes. He had to charge me $225 because of their program. Shame on you Sears for ripping off America. I
