The technicians were great, but through no fault of their own the appointment window is 8am-5pm and twice at the end of the day Sears contacted me to reschedule for a different day. It apparently is impossible to talk or send an email to any person at Sears about your service other than the tech when they're finally on the way. (Witness the carbon-copy AI responses to bad reviews below.). A good repair but a frustrating experience. I will certainly think twice before I buy another appliance with warranty coverage provided by Sears.

Worst appliance service experience ever. So far we've spent over $1,000.00, and the problem still isn't fixed. Never again will we use Sears Appliance Repair. It is a scam 100%! We are actually pursuing legal action against Sears Home Services as we speak since there's no customer service escalation path within Sears Home Services.

The AI service call system was the worst possible. After providing details on the service call request multiple times it did not give the technician any information on what today’s service call was all about. It supposedly provided updates on the service technician’s timing on the service day but incorrectly notified me that the I was the next stop and the technician was in route, which was incorrect and he arrived a few hours later The only person I was able to speak to was a woman who called prior but She had no clue about my service call details. She called to sell appliance warranties. A spam call I had already purchased from Sears the replacement part (door boot) prior to service and the labor cost was high - in excess of $350 The technician Vincent was the only positive and was great to work with I will be posting in various media about this very negative appliance repair service system, as others need to know about this

Made appoint through the automated service. Expected time of arrival (1-5pm) kept getting delayed hour by hour. Last update of arrival was to be 7:06pm after wasting a large portion of the day anticipating the arrival of a technician I called automated service to cancel at 7:10pm. Impossible to get a human to verify appointment and cause for delay. I feel I will now have to dispute charges for a service that never happened. I now see in other reviews that this is a common scenario for Sears Home Services.

Horrible experience with the Lowes Protection plan and related vendors. Tech was ok but impossible to talk with a human. You can appointment set up, change, or cancel online. I changed and no one showed for the appointment.

Clearly the technician had very little experience working on GE refrigerators. He said he believed it was a corroded connector and he couldn’t find an appropriate repair part on line so he charged me $129 as a diagnostic fee and left. He did say that although he couldn’t fix it perhaps another repairman might be able to. Really……absolutely ridiculous.

Sears service department is a joke they sent a guy out on 7/725 he shad he knew what was wrong with my cook top this was a Saturday but he put in his report I wasn’t home and couldn’t order the parts needed two weeks later another technician called me an asked if I had the parts I told him you’ll are supposed to have the parts that’s when i learned that they or the parts an had them sent to my house I never have had a service company send the parts to my house they always brought them with them an after I got the parts another week has gone by so now theee weeks in no stove to cook in no one to call or talk to but a out source answering service who can’t do any thing but so sorry not what you want to hear they would make appointment a and never show up or call just kept making appointments an not showing up so after every hour all day and night and three weeks later a technician came an installed the parts no is badge or phone number for any contact the name on the work order is Vincent but who knows if that’s his name since he had no is badge like there supposed to have I have asked on multiple times for Bryan the service manger to call me or give me his number but they refused so the best thing is for you’ll to close the doors you’ll are a useless company with useless people

Extremely POOR customer service, absolutely no follow up after initial service appointment and all contact with this poorly organized organization is with an AI which is very limited in assisting customers. The technician was the only good part of this very regrettable experience. Evernote my home warranty couldn’t get a hold of an actual Sears representative to resolve a dryer part problem for over a month. Sears NEVER kept me the customer in the loop and had zero communications with me. The only way to track the repair job was a VERY limited on line site that was extremely basic at best. I am in my sixties and this actually rates as the worst experience I’ve ever had with a repair company.
