Technician wasn’t available until very end of day so rescheduled. Technician never showed despite multiple text confirmations and then Sears canceled the appointment at 5:15pm by sending me a text message. I called and the person on the other end of the line was clearly at a call center overseas and insisted I didn’t have an appointment that day. No wonder they’re going out of business.

We scheduled a repair request for today, Saturday the 25th, Thanksgiving weekend, over a week ago. We kept getting messages via email and text messages confirming that the repair person would be here on Saturday between 8 and 5 PM. We kept having to press one to confirm. We canceled our Thanksgiving trip with our family in order to be here on Saturday to fix the washing machine. While waiting on Saturday, not knowing what time they were coming because it’s between eight and five, we received a text around 10 AM that our appointment has been rescheduled until the 30th. That is ridiculous. We wasted our entire vacation thinking that we were going to get our washing machine fixed. Do not trust customer service from Sears appliance repairs. We have canceled the service because we don’t want to wait another week and a risk taking off work waiting for service just to receive a text message on the same day that service has been canceled and rescheduled.

Tec refused to repair on my ice maker in my fridge. He ordered parts to fix it. On arrival the temperature in both the freezer and fridge was not at temperature. While inspecting the fans he found a leak that became a sheet of ice in the bottom of the fridge. He stated that the compressor was failing. The crack and water seeping from the fridge made it un repairable.
