I first received an email from Sears saying that they would let me know and estimated time of arrival was 11;07. Next thing the repair nan was calling me telling me he was at my house. He did his job.i am at work so i havent seen the stove or tried to open it yet. He never let me know he was done abd leaving. The sears company has had very bad communication with me. I will never use them again

Called sears to have a Frigidaire service because the oven would not heat up. The charge was $139 for the house call and then the total at the end was $416.00. That expensive for a part, then the service tech sat in the car about 20 minutes talking on the phone. Then I finally open the door and he came in. But the work was done quickly.

The plastic door latch on my Maytag washer broke. A Sears tech showed up. Paid him $139 for the diagnostic call. Was quoted with parts 359. He said the plastic latch was 8 days out. I went on Amazon and bought that same latch for next day delivery for $9.19. After watching a YouTube video, it took me less than 30 seconds to replace that part. Now you tell me if Sears is a rip off or not…. Shame on them. The tech was nice and all, but their pricing defeats rational…

Received a text at 3:52pm saying he was on his way that arrival time was 4:37. He didn’t show up until 5:30. Not to mention that arrival time on site is 8am- 5pm.

Rescheduled 4x- I have 4 children and my husband is deployed. I had to miss 4 days out of work. My dishwasher still isnt fixed and its been broken for 20 days

Okay, so first of all, when you try to schedule an appointment on the site, pressing the "book repair" button also means consenting to receive "autodialed, prerecorded, and/or artificial voice offers and promotions via texts and/or calls from Transformco and its business units" which means SPAM. I opted to call to schedule, and talked to some AI voice chatbot that got my name wrong. When the day of the repair appointment came, the technician didn't try to contact me, and didn't read the instructions to come to the SIDE door. All I got was an email with picture of the wrong door saying "sorry we missed you". Unacceptable, and definitely the not Sears customer care I remember.

I paid $500 and the same error code appeared on my washer/dryer combo after running the first cycle following repair. The clothes were still wet and the dryer was not fixed. When I called customer service I was only able to speak with AI and not an actual human being to discuss this problem. They scheduled another technician to come out and added another fee which I will not be paying.
