Arrived 6 hrs after predicted arrival Replaced burned out motor efficiently and tested the machine that it was working Was shocked at the cost of the motor and repair as it was close to the cost of a new machine I assume the $800 dollar cost of the motor was not Sears fault.

The technicians were good but your parts supply system was the worst I had ever seen. It was impossible to contact UPS and it took longer for the part to get here than it should have and we had to cancel the technician appointment because nobody knew where the parts were. The story is a comedy of errors but it is to long to tell here. Better use USPS they are more efficient and it the patriotic thing to do. Overall I was disappointed with the service.

I bought a new Samsung Refrigerator and have been having problems with the top ice maker since January 2017. The ice on the top ice maker melts and water leaks from the door dispenser, to the extent that it rusted the door. They have serviced the refrigerator numerous times, resolving the issue for one or two months, then the problem continues. They are resolving this matter provisionally until my service plan expires, which is now on 2019. I paid for the service plan almost $500 on this $3,000 refrigerator and Sears has yet to resolve the issue permanently. Even the technician told me that this model has this problem recurrently, and that it will continue in a couple of months. I've tried speaking to the customer service people many times, because I would like for them to replace the refrigerator for a functional one, and still they only send a technician to fix the problem provisionally.

The technician was friendly and helpful, but Sears Appliance Repair was going to charge me $400 in labor plus $383 in parts for something that would probably take 30-45 minutes to do. The labor charges are over the top so I ordered the parts myself and will do the job myself. Sears should be ashamed of themselves for charging 1/2 the price of the dishwasher replacing a console for a dishwasher that is only 3 years old. The only reason I gave two stars is because the technician was friendly. Following up a few months later. Had to drop to one star. We had an issue with our whirlpool washer and called for service because this unit was under extended warranty. The service technician came out and admitted he couldn’t figure out where the unit serial number was and couldn’t work on our unit. I had more info on the washer than he did by watching YouTube videos. He left doing nothing and said he would schedule a specialist to come out the next day. Let’s see what happens but this is a crappy experience.
