The good - making the appt was easy online. many confirmations received. tech showed up on time. did the work. The bad - we had already determined that the dyer needed a new belt. it was all open and ready for a new one. took 9 minutes to change. The charge for the belt was OK, but the labor was twice as much as I expected. I thought it was an error. but at that point I had no choice. I was in it for the basic service call already, so felt i had to continue. Try to get an estimate or use another company. i probably will not use them again. The amount was generated by his system, so there was no room for negotiation.

The scheduling system is by far the worst thing I've ever used in my entire life. They cancelled my first appointment at 3pm the day the technician was supposed to come and claimed that it was at my request, and then it was absolutely impossible to find or speak to an actual person. The AI system gave me no options and was completely useless. Whoever approved this system being implemented should be arrested and charged with torture. Edit: The phone number they put in the reply to this review is 100% controlled by AI. It is not possible to speak to a human at that number.

The invoice states that I declined further repair, which is completely inaccurate. The technician informed me that he couldn’t repair the refrigerator because Sears no longer carries parts for that model. Knowing this, Sears should have never sent a technician in the first place, as they were already aware of the refrigerator model being diagnosed. The right thing to do would have been to contact me beforehand to let me know that the model can no longer be repaired. This would have saved both time and money.
