Recurring repair with professionalism
Paul showed professionalism but the problem reappeared again and I have to put in another claim for the same issue. The washing machine keeps having to be reprogrammed. That means I have to pay another deductible. I rated 3 stars because the problem remains.

Wash your work for about 30 minutes and then it did not work after that. It makes some weird noise when you hit the start button.

Michael. call us to give an estimate of his time of arrival. Michael also called five minutes prior to his actual arrival. He promptly diagnosed the problem with our Sears refrigerator. And promptly began the repair. Michael was knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. I would rate him five stars out of a five star rating system. Thank you very much, Michael.

I don't want to give the wrong rating, but he came in and took one look at the boiler, and told me he can't work on it. He took a photo of the unit and the model number. I provided this information to Sears for the appointment, so why couldn't someone determine if he could work on this unit from your office or his office? unless his job is to verify what I have in my home. So if my expectations were he was coming to fix the unit then IM very disappointed. But like I was saying if he was coming to confirm the unit then my expectations are something different. but if your asking me if John had good customer service skills then he was perfect.

The serviceman did a fine job assessing and fixing my washer.The problem was that 2 parts were needed for the repair, and after 5 weeks only one part showed up. I researched the missing part, and it was available online for a reasonable price. No one followed through, even after several requests. It took a different technician to recognize that the part was missing, and he ordered the part for me. From start to finish it took 7 weeks to repair a washer that should have taken no more than 2 weeks. This is an unacceptable level of service.

Douglas was extremely rude to my wife.
Douglas was incredibly informative and willing to diagnose and recommend for our washer. However I can't ignore the discussion he had with my wife prior to my arrival to see meet with him. He mentioned he didn't want to work our home warranty company because they were difficult. He also argued with my wife about the leaking problem we had. He also mentioned being close to retirement so I imagine he's becoming less concerned with his demeanor while doing calls. This was incredibly disappointing as Doug has serviced quite a few of our appliances over the years.

Dryer STILL NOT Fixed as of April 10, 2026
Sears used to be a name that you can count on. The Dryer repair request was 1st Created On March 3, 2026. 3 Technician's later with 3 cancellations in between, the dryer still does not work. The window for the scheduled appointment time is between 8 AM - 5 PM and 9 AM - 6 PM with little to no notice when the Sears Tech will arrive. When they do come to diagnose, they have NO parts on hand. This means another visit after the parts are ordered. This is NO way to do business. Staying home to wait on a repair can Cost You Your Job!

Kenmore Elite washer leaking on floor
I am very displeased with your services! I don't think your techs should even get 1 star. I would rate my service with a zero. I advised everyone that the washer was leaking water underneath the machine on the floor during the spin cycle. Nobody focused on that issue. Instead I had almost 8 weeks with no washer and 7 visits from your technicians. They replaced the mother board plus multiple other parts. Lots of costs and obviously no resolution of the problem. There was no actual evaluation as to why water came out the bottom of the machine! On Nov 29th a new tech (Scott) was sent to check the machine. He is the first person who actually laid the machine down on the floor and looked at the underside of the washer. He advised us that this was something that could not be repaired and he would recommend a replacement. Had this been done on that first visit, we would not have been without a washer for an extended 8wk period. But more concerning is the amount of money your technicians ran up by putting multiple replacement parts probably not really needed into a machine without even correctly evaluating the real problem. I am considering reporting this to the BBB. I will never recommend your service be on how we were treated!
