Technician appeared very knowledgeable but conveyed little sympathy upon saying “apart unavailable but still you must pay visit.” Your system needs to assess people in advance. If they have an old appliance like I do, they need to say “probably parts not available.”

Kenneth was great. Knowledgeable, courteous, efficient. One star off because pricing (which the technician has no control over) was high. $380 labor for a 10-minute diagnosis and less than an hour for the repair.

They need to give out the techs number to the customer to see how far they are and give accurate est arrival time I was told they were coming from 1:30 to 2:23 and it was 3p and still nothing. People have other things to do then to sit around and wait on someone to come past the time

The replacement for the almost new (under 1 year) control board of my father’s Kenmore washer cost more than the washer itself. It would be cheaper to buy a new washer than to fix this one. Luckily, the machine is still useable (we just need to unplug when the cycle is done) so we did not have the repairs made. Unfortunately, my father didn’t send in the warranty that could’ve saved the $130 cost for the visit, but putting that aside, the quote we received was ridiculous. Be prepared for outrageous quotes and upselling of various warranties. The technician was very friendly, just doing his job. We’re definitely not using this service again and will not be purchasing Kenmore products. (This is one of the few times I’ve left a negative review for a company but I felt it was important to share my experience with others)
