My Whirlpool oven virtually stopped heating with temperatures nowhere near the selected settings. Perhaps not surprising since the range was over 20 years old. Scheduled a service call with Sears Appliance online. From that time on Sears maintained contact via texts, even offering an app't a day sooner than I had scheduled. The technician diagnosed the issue which was a depleted cooking element which needed replacement. The cost was in line with what I expected for a central element, though the part had to be ordered. The shipped part, however, was sent directly to my address and arrived the next day. The repair went as described and my oven is fully functional again. The only quibble I would have is that the scheduling window encompasses a full work day, 8:00AM - 5:00PM. It can't be scheduled for, say, a morning or afternoon, which can make it difficult for those who work outside of the home who would need to plan to take a full day off. Texts on the morning of the scheduled app't do indicate a likely 2-hour time frame, e.g., 8:00 - 10:00, but these are subject to change so can't be considered "written in stone."

Jesse did a very thorough job carefully checking through all the diagnostics to figure out what was going on with our 3 year old GE fridge. He did a great job explaining everything. Unfortunately the cost to replace the circuit control board and some other parts was too high, so we have decided to purchase a new one.
