Technician was good. Explained that there is Nothing to be done as the unit is providing heat, just not enough heat to actually dry a small load in under 3 hours. Not his fault LG makes a crappy dryer. Have not been happy with it since it was purchased.

Kenneth is fantastic. However, window for service is 8AM- 5PM. 1st visit to diagnose, 2nd visit parts were broken, 3rd visit scheduled and no technician arrived! SO finally, on 4th scheduled visit, dishwasher was repaired. 5 stars for Kenneth- ZERO for SEARS scheduling and parts supply.

Overpriced, unprofessional, and overall no longer worth the time. Came out for my Kenmore Refrigerator no longer cooling. The technician (Thomas U) came out on time and was very unprofessional. The whole time he was condescending to my family and complaining about the installation and the hookup we had. Was not very clear about what he was asking for signatures and just kept mentioning about a “short”. After finally putting together the quote we found out it was FAR more expensive to repair than to just buy a new one. He then proceeded to try to insist on what I need to buy and that the water hookup (installed by Sears Home Services) is not good enough and that the new fridges are “flammable” to try to force me to repair the existing unit. Additionally, there is no reason to be telling people about other customers private calls that he did in a week prior and bragging about being a supervisor when you have little to no customer service skills. Finally, he was dragging the products sold by Sears through the mud about how they were not good products and had a lot of problems. I used to trust Sears Home Services for my appliance repairs but the quality has gone downhill just like the rest of the Sears brand.

The gentlemen they sent was wonderful and very courteous. However Sears has lost my business. Last time I had a service call I had two appliances worked on for comparatively same work, grand total bill was a little over $300. This call, for something as simple as replacing a heating element = $500! Replacing the dryer with the exact model is $500.

Complete ripoff. They quoted $1,115 to repair a dishwasher that probably didn't even cost that much! One part was quoted at $439 when it listed on the Sears Parts Direct website for $235 ($185 at HNKParts). I replaced the part in two hours with no experience - their labor charge was $380!
