Joseph did his best in repairing my Frigidaire range. Joe was professional and worked hard at troubleshooting and repairing my range. I give Joe the 4 stars. I did not appreciate the multiple cancellations of my service appoints by Sears/ A& E. My appointments were cancelled 3 weeks in a row. Service should have been completed Dec 27, 2023 and was not completed until January 17. 2024. I asked to speak to a supervisor when they called to cancel my appointments ( 3 times) and was told someone would contact me. I never heard from anyone. I had to escalate through my warranty company New Leaf who was able to reach a regional manager, who guaranteed the January 17th appointment. Unfortunately , my range was not repairable. Because of the multiple cancellations I now have to wait until February for a replacement.

The technician was great it was just the scheduling. I received the parts and he couldn't get here until 3 days later and it was after 5 pm. I was without a dryer for 2 weeks..

The technicians they send are great. Service, not so much. You can not speak to a person on the phone. They didn't show up for the 1st appointment. The return appointment to replace the parts they canceled and rescheduled without any contact with myself. Now a virtual appointment that they requested for Noon to 1pm Oct. 20th, they did not keep. I don't know if its the scheduler or what but its ridiculous!!

Communications with Sears Appliance Repair is impossible, and although my washer machine was ultimately repaired, I can't ever see myself using them again because of that.

The tech had a trainee with him. They were polite, but In my opinion, they really didn't check out the unit thoroughly enough regarding my concerns. As well, the trainee took out the air filter to check it while there but when I went to turn the unit back on after they left I noticed that the filter was left sticking half out of it's place in the unit and it was backwards! I had other techs previously with this company that were much more thorough.

James was great and fixed the problem but the first repairman came and it was obvious he had no clue, as he was immediately googling the problem and I questioned are you sure and what if that is not the issue, proceeded to order the wrong part for what was the wrong problem and wasted a week of my life. So I will not be calling sears anymore in the future. My rating averages the 2 repairmen.

So I called to have my refrigerator looked at because the freezer was working. The refrigerator wasn’t working. The gentleman came looked over it and was all set and done. Said there was nothing wrong with it and then I was hit with $138 fee that took 35 min visit …... That was not told to me prior to me scheduling. I was told that the diagnosis fee would’ve been waived And at the end of this there was nothing wrong with the fridge and still had to pay $138 just for a visit that wasn’t told to me. I understand there’s a fee for coming out, but that should’ve been told at first. Also the gentleman that came was very nice and he did do his job.

David came in without a tool box of any sort. Basically asked me to recreate the issue and quoted me for hinges and seal. Spent a sum total of 15 minutes with the issue. Wasted $140.00.
