The technician's service was fine what wasn't was: Ability to get a timely initial appointment Then after waiting an additional 12 days the parts arrived late & in the meantime, the installation of same was pushed back an additional 3 weeks Lastly an 8a -12n arrival time didn't actually happen until mid afternoon. So overall, this was not a pleasant experience.

Sears Home Services has some truly excellent repair technicians on service, but could do a better job of sharing knowledge between the experienced techs like David and others who might not know the right solutions to problems. Sears Home Services itself needs to do a better job with customer service and their technology platform, however. They have poor processes for routing, parts tracking, scheduling, and communicating with customers. These deficits cause frustration; it took months for me to get the correct diagnosis, all the parts, and then schedule the tech to come. It shouldn't have taken so long. I will continue to trust the techs when they come but hope that the company will support them better.

The repair men were great. Very informative and fast. However the initial appointment wasted 5 hours of my day. No one arrived nor was I contacted. Trying to reach someone was a hassle, they only wanted me to deal with AI. I then received my parts and they would not send someone for 3 days. After I updated the chat the moment I got the parts. 1 star for the company’s communication. 5 star for the service men.

Paying $138.00 to be told it I would be better off to buy a new Frig. than fix this one is a high price to pay. He did spend some time looking up prices for a repair, but was it worth what I was charged. My daughter is a nurse and only gets $35.00 a hour. And this repair man though a nice guy was not worth what I paid.

Overpriced labor cost for 30 minutes to replace washer gasket. Would never recommend using Sears Appliance Repair in the future.

Wasn’t even here 5 minutes and he’s giving me an estimate. Turned the dryer on for 2 seconds, turned on his flash light to get the serial and model number. Asked for my wifi password and wrote the estimate for what it would cost for a new dryer. Biggest scam going in town! Seemed like he didn’t even want to be bother, so wrote up a ridiculous estimate knowing that I would then just buy a new dryer for the cost of what it would be to fix it. He even made the comment that it wouldn’t be worth fixing and just getting a new one vs fixing. The only reason that I’m giving 2 stars is that Zeriyeh from Sears Home Services said that they will refund the entire amount of the diagnostic fee.

Absolutely horrible, waited over a month to finally get my oven fixed. Unable to talk to a live person. Took over two weeks before they ordered the one part necessary to fix my oven. Then the link were they said I could move up my appointment did not function. An overall horrible experience, I will never use your company again.
