Scam: I wish that I could give zero stars, but there is no option to. The technician came after an initial no-show visit the week prior for a stove at a rental that we own. The technician, Salvatore, call me when he arrived and gave me a hard time about the door having been taken off so that he could see it better. He then called me back less than 15 minutes after we had hung up from the first call and told me that mice had chewed through the electrical harness in the back of the stove and that's why it was not heating up. He said the part I needed could not be ordered. He charged the full diagnostic fee and said I would need a new stove and possibly exterminator to treat a rodent infestation. This would have been prohibitively expensive. After paying the $150 diagnostic fee (including tax), my renters reached out concerned that the technician had not been honest about his assessment. They said the tech had not assessed the harness because he had not been able to see it easily, and that what he had described to me as a confirmed, definitive diagnosis was speculative and the result of lazy work. My renters were nice enough to look at the harness themselves that evening and sent a video explaining that an easily accessible wire was loose, and once reconnected more tightly, the oven worked. They saw no indication of mice, like poop or holes in the drywall. When I reached out to Sears, the AI system refused to connect me to customer service reps to escalate any form of grievance and directed that I reach out to online chat. The two reps that I chatted with online refused to give specifics as to when and how I would be contacted to discuss an escalation of this complaint. This system is overall scam-adjacent. I wish I had never gone with Sears. They do not seem committed to hiring quality technicians or remediating issues of fraud or quality. Colin

No one showed up for their appointment. It has been more than 15 days since they missed two appointments, and they are blaming the landlord, as if we had canceled them. Dishonorable work ethics.

I will NEVER use Sear’s repair service again. I had to repair a trash compactor. Serviceman came on Tuesday, had to order a part. Then the part arrived the following day. Serviceman was scheduled to come on Saturday between 1-5pm. I had a scheduled dinner party for Sunday so I was happy to have the compactor out of the way. Received a text that repair will be at 1:11pm. Waited . Then had a text that one more stop and he will be there. It was 5:30pm and the serviceman NEVER showed up or even called. Had to reschedule for the next earliest on Wednesday!!! How rude and inconsiderate to not Notify the customer that you will not honor the scheduled appointment!!!! This was the worst experience I have ever had. I was so angry and upset about my guests having to walk around the compactor in my kitchen. I despise SEARS. And good luck trying to talk to someone to find out why Salvatore didn’t show up.!!!

Experience was horrible from start to finish. I called on 7/29 and scheduled for 7/30. No one showed. I called and they said my appointment was for 7/31. I rescheduled for 8/6. The time the tech was going to show kept changing from 10:38 to 1:06. He showed around 1:45. Basically let himself into my house. No greeting or anything. Made himself at home at my kitchen table. Did not say a word until he wanted to charge me $184 for a $30 part and $300+ for labor. Was the rudest guy. I would never use Sears Appliance Repair again and would give them zero stars if I could. We ordered the part on our own and will make our own repairs. Dreadful experience.

The part to be replaced is an igniter. The price from Sears for the part $348. The price from LG is 61.95. I would never call your service or recommend your service.

Initial service for a 5 year old GE refrigerator scheduled in 2 days. They didn’t have the needed parts in stock, scheduled return for another 2 weeks. The part was broken upon opening box. Wanted me to wait another 2 weeks, 4 weeks total without a refrigerator. Unacceptable!! Stay away.

My husband scheduled an appointment for our broken dryer for 7/1/25, and our arrival window was between 1 pm and 5 pm. It was canceled due to unforseen circumstances before lunch that day. We rescheduled for 7/3/25 between 1 pm and 5 pm, and they canceled at 4:45 pm. We rescheduled for today, 7/4/25, between 8 am and 12 pm. The technician still hadn't arrived by 2 pm, so we called to get an updated status and they were unable to tell us anything more than what was on the website, so we canceled and are going with a completely different company. Avoid this place, terrible service.

In all fairness, I wasn’t home. The machine was horribly off balance with the machine shaking violently with spin cycle. He told my husband that I should be using high water levels when washing clothes. There are only the two of us so our loads are small. What does the high water level have to do with the machine shaking loudly during spin cycle??? Will never use Sears again!

Our window was 8-5. Great window. He came at 445. Asked for owners manual. Said covered under warranty and left. Mind you. He was there under home warranty anyways. What’s the difference. Sears don’t want to spend the money so push it to Samsung. If you call yourself an appliance place. Fix the issue. Don’t push service off. It’s all covered under warranty. I pay for it. It also took 3 weeks to have sears come out. Just to leave in 10 minutes. Great.

Told them to fix there page months ago cause they don’t have a building where uhaul is and they didn’t. Messes people up cause people have stopped in looking for sears at uhaul.
