Clothes Dryer - Not Heating
Brian H. took apart the dryer on my 15-year-old washer/ drying combo appliance. It was quickly obvious that Brian has many years of experience and a great depth of knowledge with appliance repair. The problem was that the heater element was no longer functional and needed to be replaced. Brian also recommended replacing the knob that holds the drum in place. It was showing excessive signs of wear and was relatively inexpensive to replace. Otherwise, the unit was in good condition. I agreed to both repairs. My total bill for the repair was about $500. And now my dryer is working just fine. Purchasing a new similar washer/dryer combo would have cost about $1800.
