Washing Machine Broke last week on a Wednesday and the earliest appointment time available was for the following week on Wednesday. Long time doing laundry by hand there...Then I get an email saying the window of time the technician would show up would be 8am-5pm. By 5pm no call. At 8pm I get a call and missed the call (of course cause I'm a mom of 4 kids juggling everything), and I would like to think that naturally they'd just show up the next day because they said online there were 4 more stops then 3 more stops and then 2 more stops.... essentially scheduled too many calls in a day. So I get the call and they say we'll go ahead and schedule for the next opening which is next week on Thursday. 2 weeks without washer....dang...

Would absolutely not recommend. Called because my refrigerator freezer wasn’t working. They advised me that one $600 part would fix the issue and the freezer should last at least 5 more years. After three days it sounded like a jet engine in my kitchen. We called them back and we’re told “we would need to pay for someone to come out and would need to pay for any repairs made.” Now my freezer is warm again. Awful service. Will report to BBB. Again, do not recommend.
Robert O,
Their customers service is absolutely awful. It has been taking a month to get a washer serviced. I’ve had multiple no shows. There is no way to get an actual human being on the phone because their call centers are all automated and when you get to someone they are offshore and put you on hold for a hour. They have changed us for service and parts not actually shown to do the repairs. Honestly their overall customer experience is terrible. Go to someone like D&K in Newtown Square to avoid hassles.

I highly regret purchasing this service. I did so when my refrigerator ice maker broke and the tech said the warranty would be cheaper than the part. Now there have been techs out multiple times, and I've paid almost $1000 in warranty fees and deductible, and it still doesn't work. They just keep making me pay deductibles. When I call for help I get routed through endless automated menus and any people I get are robotic and can't help. They keep trying to send the same tech out and his company refuses to come, saying a Sears tech has to come. But Sears warranty keeps scheduling the same appointment. This whole thing has been an expensive and useless nightmare.

Had multiple appointments with Sears Appliance repair and all were no shows. First they have a window from 8am to 5pm which is unacceptable. No courtesy phone call and the automated system is horrendous. The customer service sucks and I will not be doing business with this company ever again. Very disappointed and a completely unsatisfied customer.

I called for service to my refrigerator which is under Extended Warranty with Sears. We made and appointment and I took the day off from work to be here. Sears had the parts mailed to my house but the evening before the appointment only 1 of the parts came so Sears cancelled my appointment and requested to make another. I took the day off and couldn't cancel my day off and now Sears wants me to do it again even though they could not tell me when the part would arrive. I will not renew my contract with Sears.
William E,
Awful experience. Told us they would come between 8 and noon. At 2PM I called and they said I was told between 8 and 5PM. When I told them that was not true they said there was some glitch. Was never notified. Washing machine 2 years 7 months old is rusting around the bleach dispenser and we were told - with a straight face, that it was our fault for allowing bleach to touch the inside of the washing machine. With my "comprehensive service warranty" which they repeatedly told me - covers all parts and repairs, I was told I would have to pay $350 to get this fixed. Can't make this stuff up.
Mark S,
Numerous calls and each tech comes up with a different repair. We had the cutter replaced, then the computer, then the heater, then on the 25th they replaced the pump. When we turned the dishwasher on that evening there was a loud noise when the pump was running, and we had to call again for another repair and have the pump replaced. We have had 6 calls since October. When will it be economically feasible to throw in the towel and have sears let us get a new dishwasher. The repair men say it should be replaced but the office has to make that determination, they keep sending repairmenn
Robert M,
The service man was able to fix my ice maker, I am pleased. I just wish it was done on the first try. 7/21/2016- FOLLOW UP, I contacted Sears Home Repair the "repaired" ice maker is now leaking all over the freezer compartment. They told me the old service ticket was still active and would have to be closed manually. Now a week later, sears has not contacted me and my ice maker is still leaking. The service with Sears Home Repair has gotten worse since they started to use "Certified Partners" to reduce my repair wait time. I was scheduled for service in 2 weeks. The partner that was sent out to me would not listen to our previous problems. Instead he gave the ice maker a quick look see, said it was jammed and ordered me a new ice maker. 1 1/2 weeks later the part was in and the schedule was in 3 days. So now I month after the service call the repair tech took apart my ice maker and found out is was only frozen closed. So he took out the block of ice and the ice maker started to fill and make ice. I did not get the ice maker replaced. He didn't apologize for the delay (could have been fixed 2 weeks ago) Now the ice maker is leaking (poor quality service) My ice maker has been trouble since a year after I purchased the fridge. I am not blaming Sears for that. However their service contract customer service is terrible. They offer many perks to have the service contract including a buy back program. Well after the 3rd ice maker repair they have never offered this feature to me. I hope someone else has better luck with Sears I have lost faith.
