Overall rating

John, the technician checked the back of the fridge, the filter, the ice maker. All were fine. He feels that the temperature of the fridge is too low and so he raised the temperature on the door. He said that give it a few days to see if the water starts to flow again. If not, call Sears and ask for John to come and check the fridge again. It would be nice to speak to a human being rather than an AI to explain what is wrong with the appliance. It takes a great deal of patience at times to get through to some AIs.

This tech was the nicest most respectful man, but I can tell you he was very,very under trained, think he was put on the road unaccompanied without knowledge of gas ranges, an then to tell a customer, I'm sorry it is the wrong office, but I m not allowed to change it, an I do know what i am talking about, because my husband wad a supervisor for techs

I want to cancel this service. I can't get through to you and he couldn't help me with that. I keep calling your phone numbers. Your website to cancel is not clear. I don't understand what it's saying. Your service is terrible. I want to cancel the warranty and all your service.

$480 to replace dryer heating element, $149 to be told washer drum bearings are discontinued and no longer available. One tech, two diagnostic charges on same visit. Sears will never get a service call from me ever again. I was charged $300 for labor on the dryer heating element. A job that took about 30 minutes. Update! Their contact them for further assistance is nonsense. You'll be chasing your tail trying to get through to them. Long story short! Avoid them. They are crooks!

Update: Customer service told me to call back in 24-48 hours for a "refund" only for me to find out they now switched to a full ai agent staff and no way to speak to a human. An absolute shame, I need a human being to contact me for a refund. This is absolute fraud. Our technician was friendly and knowledgeable and able to diagnose the issue with our washing machine. We initially said yes to the repair, but looked up the part and decided to repair ourselves. We had to replace our locking mechanism which was a $15 part, and they were going to charge us $487 to replace. We called shortly after the diagnostic to cancel the future scheduled repair, aware I am still responsible for paying the diagnostic fee only. I have called customer service twice and they route you through a phone system that makes it impossible to get ahold of a human. Only 2 or 3 hours after the repair I called to cancel the appointment and the part that was ordered. I was told it was cancelled and I would have to call back to get my money refunded. It seems that it was never cancelled because the part was still shipped to my house and I was told to call back in another 24-48 hrs for a refund.

It is ashame how you treat your customers. I have had a Master Protection Plan for the past 16 years. In the past four years it has gotten progressively worse. The past year l had to wait over 9 months to get a replacement washing machine. The last 2 times l needed a technician, you scheduled me and then cancelled the appointment in the middle of the day of my appointment twice before you actually sent someone. It was for 2 different appliances, so l was inconvenienced 6 days of my life instead of 2 days. My time is important to me.
