We've used Sears before for repair (3 years ago). They came fairly quick. Vincent was very gruff and acted like it was too much of a bother. I helped pull all the racking out and assist in defrosting. The biggest thing was he was only here for 1 to 1/4 hour and the bill was $450. No itemization on labor just a line item for $331.00 Parts were a one way valve for drain and a Thermister $85.00 and then they charged 7% sales tax for a PA service job. Not sure where they came from. So far Refrigerator is working fine. Feel I was overcharged for what was done. Won't recommend to others.

I am giving five stars ONLY for Vincent, the repair technician. I give Sears a ZERO. Because Sears would rather ROB their customers than offer a fair price. $170 dollars for a part you can buy online for $20, and $400 labor for a thirty minute repair. I will never call Sears Appliance Repair again. As for Vincent, top notch, excellent!

Horrible service they came to my house repair a overhead microwave took it down and after they took it down they said the wall need it support I went and got a stud finder found the studs and proceeded to reinforce with new screws and put the microwave back up like nothing there a poor excuse of a company they also advised my warranty company the I need it reinforced the wall so wouldn’t send nobody else to fix my problem you bums and one of the guys even left without saying anything and he was super rude I would never recommend this company to nobody

want to share my frustrating experience as a customer of the Sears Appliances Protection Plan, in hopes of helping others make an informed decision. I had an issue with my home refrigerator and called Sears to schedule a repair under the protection plan. They gave me an appointment, but two days later they canceled it without any clear explanation. I called again and rescheduled. Unfortunately, they canceled again. This happened four times. Each time, I had to go through the hassle of calling back, setting up a new appointment, waiting days, only for it to be canceled again. No one showed up, and there was no urgency or accountability from Sears. Meanwhile, my refrigerator remained broken, and I had no resolution despite paying for a protection plan that’s supposed to offer peace of mind. This is unacceptable and misleading. A protection plan should mean reliable service when you need it most—not endless rescheduling and delays. If you’re considering getting the Sears Appliances Protection Plan, please be cautious. Based on my experience, they fail to deliver on their promises, and customer service does not seem empowered or motivated to fix the situation. I recommend looking into other service providers that have a better track record of honoring their commitments and valuing their customers’ time.

Service was good but I was given a total service cost of $69.00 by your AI thing when setting up my appointment and the cost was $99.00 when service was completed. This was not right, and I should be given a refund. Dealing with an AI person is complete BS and there is no way to get in touch with an actual person to get information.

This is the absolute worst service I have EVER had. The service tech showed up late the first 2 times but still didn't have part on the 3rd scheduled vist. Two more appointments where he was late, didn't notify me that he would be "late" until well after the appointment time and THEN the appointment was rescheduled. Today, appointment #5, he sent a notification that he came by, oh yes, late, and the he made the repair. He never showed up, my microwave still does not work. Mind you, each of the 5, yes 5, appointments we were required to remain home from 8am to 5pm. 5 separate occasions we were to be accessible for the entire day. If anyone would like to connect me from Sears , please feel free.

repairman came and diagnosed the problem and rescheduled us for two weeks later (had to wait for parts.) scheduled a return visit to install oven parts two weeks later. Confirmed appointment several times. Took off work and at noon received a text that they need to reschedule. Earliest date was another two weeks. I called and told them I had 8 people coming for dinner the day before they would be able to come. They still would not get a service person here before my dinner party. Talking with American Homeshield the warranty company that uses them. Hopefully they will see the lack of compassion and competence Sears has.

Repair on my refrigerator was a horrible experience. The repairman hooked up the ice machine hose to run under the water so now my freezer looks like an iceberg. And he refused to put it back together (we have a zero gravity with the motor on top) because he admitted he didn't work on the enough to know how. Awful experience. I only gave one star because I couldn't write a review otherwise. I am now calling Sears again to have someone return to fix the hose.
