Hot Point Oven wall unit
John was polite, professional and knowledgeable about the oven. He kept talking when I was telling him the plan we purchased from CHW. He did explain the process, in general. We were expecting a repair not a replacement. But due to the age of the unit we understand. We asked if Sears would be able to complete the process and he didn't know.

The technician was thorough and quick with the repair. My only complaint is they give you an appointment window from 8-5 so I had to wait all day for him. I received a text he was on his way at 4:00 but he didn't arrive until 4:35. That's way too long of a window and a major inconvenience.

Vincent was definitely competent in diagnosing and fixing the water drain clog problen on the frige. Since we inherited this fridge when we moved in here two months ago and the paper manual is not very good, I asked him a lot of additional questions and he shared his knowledge and even demonstrated a few things to me. Excellent guy! I will now create a contact card for Sears Home Services. Thanks Vincent!

automated service to set up service confusing. Contact with a live person is next to impossible. service tech James very helpful, knew the problem and ordered parts needed. Time for service to be completed was pretty good. However I requested service on my washer at the same time. Over 2 weeks ago. Part no longer available. no follow-up by company as to replacing my washer. Prices at laundry matt is very expensive and time consuming.

While my technicians were great, the service with Sears was less than that. The techs get 5 stars, but if I rate it that, Sears will take the credit. My part took 4 weeks. In backorder statistics that never changed. I used the chats twice with the same answer to both. 2nd week answer was she was escalating to management and I would hear back within 3 days. Nothing. I chatted the following week and was told the same. I had to call my Choice Home Warranty because there is # to contact Sears. Only then did I get the part. Same thing happened with my dishwasher. Tharfell through the cracks as well.

Tech was there to fix my oven for warranty service. Tech was not familiar with my appliance. Instilled no confidence that he knew what he was doing. Stated all parts tested fine yet there was NO power to the appliance…so how could it be tested properly. Left visit stating I needed an electrician.
