The Technician ,I beleive was A & E he was on was on time and very professional , he worked in a proficient manner, provided us with great information as to how to avoid further issues with our appliance... we gave him the part ordered via telephone , sight unseen over the phone, which wasn't even needed . Ordered after we began to have an issue..on May 11, 2024, this is a very large kenmore upright 2007 ,Garage freezer which has worked diligently over 16 years in a basement with freezing temperatures. As it was made for. We had an appointment for the 16, about 6 days later, guess what ? A full day from the assigned provider" no show " no call, I called and a was given apologies by Cinch, only they could contact this provider. I was assured of an appointment on or around , May 24, 2025, this is a slowly defrosting freezer from the 11th of May , I refused and demanded quicker service.. Originally I was mandated through Cinch warranties policy to pay a $150 deductible by Cinch, over the phone on a machine through text or chat, whichever, I suppose ,before I could tell the problem to begin the claim. In the first place. I was I admit, furious. After intense debate , anger and acute frustration With how this debacle was handled.., I got a date of May 21,2024. from Cinch. Because the appliance was never diagnosed on the location, but over the phone, I nearly lost over ,over $1000 .00 worth of food, and consider that the part was never used..why ? I the Freezer worked just fine. The Tech opened the back of the Freezer, defrosted it and bingo, no repair..just a blocked drain. The Freezer struggled all those days.. most food did survive. But failure to do a timely inspection, between the 11th through the 21 of the month would have been a fiasco . There's something not working between A&E if that's who they are and Cinch warranty this was not what I thought I subscribed for . I wasn't allowed to look for a repair provider closer or that would expidite the inspection in my area.. it has to be the company's provider.. so yes, the Technician was excellent in every way..maybe they need more Techs in my area or at their establishment. Or Cinch needs more providers in Rural areas.. this is long but ,I was lucky the appliance was able to remain somewhat functional. But at its behemoth size..2007 model was more like a commercial product..Kenmore back than was a fantastic product. There should be a better way.. the Technician was a 5. The rest there is no rating to add . BTW in years past ,I might have figured it out on my own. But as a Retired 68 year old female, I took warranties , on products that needed to last. So her we are..
