Needed service for an "F" error code. Excellent job, Stephen saw exactly what repair was needed as he was investigating. Very personable and helpful to me with info on the washer itself as cleaning options for the machine.

Kenneth was great for the dishwasher repair on June 11th. We did not appreciate being on call from 8 am to 5 pm on June 10th for a refrigerator repair only to be told after 5 pm it was being rescheduled. P.s. we have a refrigerator needing a warranty repair. Sears has rescheduled it 3 times already. At least the last time they canceled by 10 am The ti.e before, not u til 5:15 pm. Sears has wasted hours of our time.

I had Sears Home Appliance come out because my fridge wasn’t keeping temperature consistently. When the technician got here all he did was check the temperature and tell me it was working. He couldn’t change the display from Celsius to Fahrenheit and he told me it was at the proper temperature (which I already knew because I ad a thermometer in it). I asked him to check the compressor and he didn’t. So I paid the service fee of $129 + tax for him to do nothing really.

The repairmen seem knowledgeable, but the communication system is broken. More than two months for repair. Parts ordered, canceled, reordered, and my calls "escalated" seven times. AI repeatedly set up appointments then cancelled them the day before "waiting for the part". Frustrating.

I have had agent come to my home to fix my dishwasher five times and still have not had the part installed. They have cancelled my appointments and closed out my order without coming to my appoiment. I still have not had the part installed and had to make another appointment only to have them reschedule me. I plan to call the company I have a contract with as well. This repair has taken over two months without getting done. I need to talk to a person to get this done.

The repair guy took a picture of the fridge details and checked nothing else. He did not move the fridge or check the back. He said it was the computer board. He said there was no part available therefore he couldn’t help. Then he told me that I had to sign that I declined the estimate. What estimate? You said you couldn’t fix it? “If you sign I couldn’t fix it, that makes me look bad,” he said. But you couldn’t fix it. We went around in circles so I ended up signing because I needed to move on with my life. The thing that disturbs me is that Sears didn’t repair other things in my house for lack of parts. My question then becomes, do they only repair appliances under warranty?

The job is done but the price was exorbitant. The guy was here for a total of 15 minutes between 2 visits and one small part was needed. We had to wait 5 days for the part to come in and paid $400. Ridiculous. The repairman did a great job. It was the price set by the company and the fact that, even though it took just minutes to diagnose and fix the problem, and the part needed to be ordered so it was an extra 5 days without a dishwasher, we still paid $400! There was no customer service from the company that warranted the price. There was nothing that made this fix worth the equivalent of half the value of the dishwasher.
