Awaiting decision from ins co as to repair or replace. Warranty says they approved the repair but Sears has not called me for an appointment to repair my washer...Help!

Thank you Rick for being so professional. I appreciate your communication throughout this process and you made me consider giving Sears another try. My stars are not a reflection of the service that Rick provided. I've always used sears for repairs and had never been disappointed until now I did not like how I had an appointment scheduled the day prior waited from 1 to 5 as they stated. They cancelled my appointment at the last minute by email. I got an email around 530 stating that my appointment was rescheduled for the next day. This was very unprofessional and discourteous of my time. Thankfully, I had nothing scheduled the next day during that time. This is not how you should treat customers. Especially if someone takes off work to be home for an appointment it's no so easy to be off again the next day.

Great work. Would have liked a check of the sound of convection bake to understand if the loud sound on the bottom and top oven is now normal with the new fan replacement. Still sounds unusually loud. Thank you. I would like the first tech to come back at her convenience please, after Thanksgiving. I used the convev bake on the evening of Nov. 14 and realized the tech did not check that part of the baking and it's use which is also part of the fan use of the oven. There is still a rattle involved. Thank you for your attention to this ongoing issue.

I hesitate to give it too low of a rating because I do NOT want this to reflect poorly on the technicians that came out. They both did a wonderful job. But this whole AI system that Sears has now is frustrating, exhausting, and neglectful. We had a technician out very quickly after we put in our initial claim, but he didn’t have the part needed so he ordered it for us. What proceeded was 4 weeks of going in circles, having our appointments canceled on us, and having to speak to a completely different company just to get a part. Even after getting the part and following their steps to move our appointment up we STILL had our appointment cancelled and I had to reset it. Our initial appointment was on 7/21/2025 and our washing machine was just repaired today. Again, our technicians were great. Very knowledgeable and efficient. But they were literally the only humans with Sears we spoke to. We had to call Lowe’s just to get any headway. It was awful. Lowe’s was more helpful than Sears.

Had an issue with my dryer, service tech said it was the idler pulley, even called others so they could listen and verify, but that replacing wasn’t urgent. Finally had a chance after the holidays to replace the part, of course it did not fix the issue. Waste of time and money for that service call.

The repairman was unable to fix my refrigerator. His diagnosis was the water inlet valve needed to be replaced to fix the ice maker, but when he installed it ($586.46) the ice maker still didn't work so apparently that was not the problem. He suggested that it might be the water filter housing and that it would cost an additional approximately $250 to install. He was supposed to be the expert, why was he guessing? I asked him to remove the water inlet valve since there apparently was nothing wrong with the one replaced since the refrigerator is 1 1/2 years old. I would like a full refund of the prepaid amount of $586.46.

Sears service tech Austin was terrible. He was not interested in fixing the problem what so ever. All he did was clear the lines so my refrigerator won’t leak for about a week and then it will be leaking again. I tried to explain what was happening and about the part that was ordered and appts canceled because we were waiting for said “part” and it has never been put on…I bet if it was put on the problem would be fixed. I would not recommend Sears to anyone for repairs
