What a disaster. First, it's almost impossible to get a real person. All AI/chat.. Told AI my appointment had to be after 11am. Guy calls at 8 to say he's enroute 30 min to find issue then 1.5-2 hours on phone looking for part number. I'd think if you're going to advertise you service certain makes/models, the techs would have resources to find part numbers . Got told 7 days. 2 weeks and still waiting. Told the part is backordered, but i find it on 9 different part sites. Still waiting on someone to contact me after being told I'd be contacted as far back as last week. Going forward, I'll replace appliances before I contact sears. As per the reply, I called the number. Prompts galore. No prompts that were targeted towards what I'm looking for. So. Back to square 1, but now MORE aggravated. Also still waiting for a call back that was scheduled Monday (it's Wednesday now) About to just go buy a new washer. By now it's more economical. Yup.... never again. Update: after waiting 3 weeks and three promises for someone to call me which never happened, I canceled the entire work order and requested a refund for the part and for the follow-up labor. Tired of empty promises that someone would call me. Tired of getting queue card responses to tell me to call an 800 number which nobody picks up the phone as it is strictly AI voice recording which will get you nowhere and tired of using the chat feature where they can't tell you what day it even is. They kept telling me that the 6-in tube was on backorder with no estimated time of delivery even though I found it on six different suppliers websites (i clud7ng amazin). After all the runarounds I finally ordered the piece off one of the suppliers' websites and it is being delivered tomorrow morning. 3-day turnaround, yet they can't get it within 3 weeks?????? If anybody reads these replies and actually takes into consideration what people are leaving behind, I would put more emphasis on the negatives than the positives. I will never ever have these people back out to service anything under my roof.

The first technician that came to check my non working dryer said it was s part that needed replacing. It was ordered and the second technician that came put in the newly ordered replacement said it was the vent that needed cleaning. He verified that now dryer worked but after he left and after doing a load of wash it would not heat again. I have had the vents cleaned but dryer still not working and all this was paid for in advance. Someone needs to come out asap and fix this problem.

This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with service company. The charge of $300.00 for less than 15 minutes of work was not told to me when first service technician said he did not have part for my dryer but needed $517.00 to order part. Was told by office technician that refund would be credited for service call and time for installation overage. Part was ordered through Amazon and sent to my home. Was not told to confirm delivery back to company and appt was still listed as pending waiting upon part delivery. Part was replaced within 15 minutes and NO CREDIT given towards $517.00. Promise to NEVER do business with Sears Home Services again and will encourage all known friends, neighbors , church members and customers to not patronize Sears Home services in future. It’s just that 300 dollars is wrong for less than 15 minutes of work.

The technician was good. He solved the problem but your customer service is horrendous! I couldn’t get a person on the phone and my appointment was as between 8 & 12. The tech didn’t get here until3! Nobody called. This is totally unacceptable and I think Sears Home Services is terrible. I will never use you again!!!

Said we had to have Best Buy Geek Squad oder the part ship it to us then they would come install. Called Geek Squad and they said contractor has to order part and rescheduled appointment with Sears. Not happy at all. Part needed is freezer evaporator. Sears Appliance Tech is a liar. Sears sent us forms that they said i signed. We saw no forms and signed nothing. There is no way to talk to someone at Sears Home Service about this because all of the phone numbers go to an automated system that never gives the option to talk to someone. Sears sucks. They sent the same tech today was told someone else would be sent, he never showed up and claims I canceled the service at the door. This tech is a liar.

Buyer beware – Avoid Sears repair services at all costs! Sears is, without a doubt, one of the most despicable and incompetent companies I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. We scheduled a service appointment with a representative who explicitly assured us that the technician would bring the refrigerator seal we needed replaced. Guess what? The technician showed up empty-handed and informed us that he didn’t bring the part. To add insult to injury, he then left without accomplishing anything, and we were slapped with a $127.93 charge – for absolutely nothing. Let me be clear: we were charged nearly $130 for the privilege of having a Sears technician show up and tell us he didn’t have the part they promised to bring. When I attempted to dispute the charge, I was met with their infuriating policy: they charge $127.93 simply for the technician’s presence, regardless of whether they diagnose or repair the issue – or even bring the parts they committed to bringing. This company’s practices are nothing short of predatory, and their customer service is utterly shameful. Sears Home Services is a disgrace, and I sincerely hope they follow in the footsteps of their parent company and go out of business – the sooner, the better. Take my advice and steer clear of Sears for any repair services unless you enjoy being ripped off and treated like a fool.

I bought a part online. They took my payment. Then they canceled my order and I don't believe they were ever even going to tell me it was canceled OR REFUND ME! I call them and they don't know why my order was canceled. They say they can refund my purchase and resell me the item to get it shipped. They only credit me $12. Definitely not what I paid. I'm not hopeful at all that I'll actually receive the part. Disappointed doesn't do this experience justice 😔

I’d give them zero stars but Google won’t let me. On Aug 12, 2024, you gladly took my pre-payment, which included the cost of the part. On August 26, 2024, your technician determined he was UNABLE TO REPAIR MY WASHING MACHINE, TOOK THE PART I PAID FOR IN ADVANCE WITH HIM, AND TOLD ME I WOULD BE REFUNDED!!!! I have called your useless “customer service” number AT LEAST 10 TIMES OVER THE LAST ALMOST TWO MONTHS AND HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY REFUND!!! They have “claimed” to have escalated it and I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND!!! I should add that each and every phone number you can find for Sears takes you to their useless “customer service” line that I have called already. This is a scam of a company

The air-conditioner repairman was here the end of July 2024 and looked at the air-conditioner for 20 minutes, tightened some bolts, added freon and said it was fixed. Today, 11/4/2024, another repairman from another company came out and found 2 significant leaks. He informed me that the former repairman just tightened when he should have added a liquid sealant, too. I will not be using Sears air-conditioning repair service again. TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED!!!
