Curtis couldn't repair, sears sending $$ towards new washer

I rate my tech Gregory a 5 but the price was waaaayyyy over priced. I felt ripped off and taken advantage of because I needed it done and went with a reputable company. I definitely won’t be a repeat customer but the work done was done quickly although I had to wait 8 additional days to get back on the schedule even when my part arrived 24 hours from the initial visit. Communication was terrible, I was offered an opportunity for tech to come a day early and when I accepted there was no further communication to confirm or rescind offer. But let me get back to the pricing $299.99 for labor, he was here 30 minutes tops between both visits. The part was $178 an order from Amazon. When I reviewed Amazon the price was no more than $59. Then everything had its own tax charge. Gregory again was super nice and adorable. I appreciated him and our conversations throughout the visits. I did a thorough job and got my dryer up and running again.

The tech was very knowable and thorough. Was able to diagnose the problem quickly and make the needed repair. However, customer service at their office sucks. It's only an AI computer. You can't even ask for a human. My tech was very late and I tried calling to see if I could reschedule without a charge because I had an appointment scheduled 2 hours after his arrival time and with him being so late I was concerned about making it to my appointment. It's not fair to the tech to give this rating a 1 star, but truly customer service is a 1 star, the tech is a 5 star. Service cost is also way overpriced.

I had no issue with Gregory. He was wonderful. My issue is with Sears. Poor customer service ....AI was not helpful at all. Get rid of it!!!! And they rescheduled my appt multiple times stating I didn't have the part when I had the part for days cause it was delivered to my hime and I had called and told them that. The people who came to my home were excellent...it was scheduling and service around it that royally sucked.
