Quoted $129 for a service call. Any additional pricing is supposed to be communicated regarding fixes that need to be made before accepting the repair. This was not done, The tech cleaned a hose with a screwdriver that took just a minute and charged me additional fee for the "screwdriver service". Trying to speak with Sears about this issue has been like talking to three year olds.

Stand Alone Frigidaire Freezer bought 5/2022 Installed 8/2022 with our kitchen remodel. Freezer working and making ice until 5/5/2024 Claim made with Choice Home Warranty (CHW) Thursday May 9th, 2024:Technician came out . Could not fix had to order part. 2 weeks later Part delivered Tuesday May 28th, 2024. Same technician out - part inserted. Ice maker functioning properly and no water leaking. 6/28/2024 - It was again noted that the Ice maker was not working and water was leaking from under unit. Claim opened with CHW: 7/3 technician arrive and 'fixed' unit. Stated supply line was freezing. Later that day it was again noted that the ice maker not working. Water and ice were leaking into the ice bin and drawer below. Also water leaking from under unit. CHW contacted Their response was: Sears Home Services has been assigned to your claim and an appointment has been scheduled for Monday July 8th, 2024. I arranged to have it moved up to 7/5 via the automated scheduler. The technician from Sears arrived and was informed that we would not pay 75.00 fee as this was incomplete work from previous visit. Technician wanted payment and refused to look at anything. We requested to speak with his boss. The technician left, went out to his truck and drove off. He will not answer phone messages. No call or esponses from sears

I was driving and an A&E Factory Service van did not think to check its mirrors or blind spots before nearly ramming into my car. Had there not been shoulder space for me to drive in to, this impatient and hazardous vehicle could have easily caused very serious damage to me, my passenger, and my vehicle. The driver who had long brown hair in a pony tail had the audacity to make faces at me for nearly hitting my vehicle! They ended up getting back into their lane after the debacle so I have no idea why they had to get into my lane the exact second my vehicle was near theirs, just to get back over. Please consider making sure your employees are in proper condition to drive before letting them on the road in a company vehicle that can be traced back to your business, and consider the safety at stake for other drivers on the road.

Repairmen was on time and courteous. However, I was very clear in my service request to what was needed, model number, part number etc. Part is no longer available, which should been researched prior to his arrival. Why was this information not read, why did you send a service person out if you knew the part was no longer available. This was a money grab - nothing more.
