There were too many issues to post here with customer service, dispatch not calling me back, technicians showing up and not wanting to do their job. BUT Conrad, a technician, saved this experience for me. After hours of customer service calls, time away from being productive at MY job, and stress beyond measure, Conrad showed up and completed the job with a smile. He was apologetic for our experience and made sure he handled things to our satisfaction before leaving. I'm sure the techs are contracted out by Sears, but Sears Home Repair customer service is severely lacking and they kept none of the promises they made to me on the phone. I asked for a refund at the end of week two waiting on my repairs to be completed, less the part that we obviously needed, and was told they didn't have my money to refund it. Someone had it, it was no longer in my account. I can't even begin to go into the details of how horrible this experience was, but man is Sears Home Repair lucky for Conrad who swooped in and saved the day!

It was a bad experience from the start. ALL appointments are scheduled through AI (Richard). Two numbers were transposed in the address. You cannot make corrections with their AI system and you CANNOT talk with a real person. There is a place to add nots to the service person in which I gave the correct address but, the serviceman called and said he couldn't find my address. I told him I corrected it in the notes to the serviceman. He said, "Oh we don't see those on our orders." He then arrived 2 hours and 45 minutes after the scheduled time slot. He also told me they pay us very well so we work late until we get our whole list done. (Meaning we are charged HIGHER RATES to pay them.) He proceeded to TRY to run the diagnostic on the washer. He didn't know how so he literally watched 4 YouTube videos and spent well over 1/2 hour pushing buttons trying to figure it out. He finally hooked up a voltmeter and showed me that the water sensor was causing our problem. The part had to be ordered and we would have to wait 10 days for the repair. 10 days later we had a morning appointment. Around noon we were notified he would arrive approximately at 4:30. We had to cancel for medical appointments. 12 days later the repairman called he was on his way and I made sure he had the correct address that was still showing up wrong even though the first repairman said he corrected it in the system. He then ask if we had the part???? They had sent the part to us at the wrong address, which doesn't exist. The part was reordered and sent to us with only the street and no number. A miracle we received it. About 10 days later, a different repairman showed up, Greg. He looked at the part and ask what the symptoms of the washer were. I told him. He just shook his head and said that part would never fix the problem. He said the first guy was new and had ordered the wrong part because he diagnosed the problem wrong. You guessed it, we waited another 10-12 days for the part to arrive and Greg returned to install it. Washer is working now AFTER A MONTH AND A HALF!!!!! I only gave them a 2-star rating because of the second repairman, Greg. Their AI system is really BAD

The cost for someone to come to my home for less than 15 minutes is way too much . $139.00! Only to give me a ridiculous price to fix my oven, over $1100.00 dollars. I’ll be checking out other brands and company’s to purchase a new one for less than the repair.

I scheduled multiple days out for 8am - 12noon. The computer system Sears uses scheduled me with the tech for between 1 and 5. Absolutely disrespectful of my time, I lost an entire day of work waiting for the technician. Sears does not have a human you can speak with and their chat bots/ai system is limited to very few responses, do not expect a straight answer. My experience with Sears in the past was very good and I recommended them to friends, family and neighbors. After this last experience with Sears, those same people know not to use Sears services. And the washing machine was not repaired either. Sadly I learned how to repair it on YouTube, it took me less than 30 minutes to repair it myself.

The worst experience as you never talk to a human being when there are issues only AI. Absolutely no customer service and if you know what bait and switch means, they are great at baiting you and then switching. Meaning you are told one price and you receive another much higher. I will never ever use this service again. Buyer beware!

Id go lower if I could . I have 3 orders out with these guys . Dishwasher, freezer , washing machine. Its stuff I had get get fixed with the sale of my house . No biggie right , I have a platinum plan with AHS pay my service fee and they'll take care of it. Sears home services are IMPOSSIBLE to get on the phone . Like they have no live agents . Im not located on the west coast. They will call me multiple times a day starting at 5am to relay completely useless information about my 8 hour service window . Then yesterday I had a tech come by the property for the washing machine. It has ring cameras to a doorbell inside the property. And a note written by my buyers wife that said come in side door. The tech took a Pic from the driveway oh her car and said no one home. This has been a nightmare. Attached is the photo the tech took , looks like someone's home to me

Technician spent very an hour “diagnosing” our 20+ year old dryer, which was fine but didn’t communicate anything until he put the dryer back together, and presented a $500+ estimate. He didn’t have any of the parts needed, if we would want to repair despite us sending all the information including the issue and serial and model numbers when scheduling. He offered to come back on Saturday if he could source the parts on his own which seemed shady. Sarah was very good about communicating about the appointment but the customer service ended with her.
