If I could rate the technicians separately, they’d get 10 stars. They were professional, fast, and honestly the only reason this review isn’t even worse. I wish they didn’t work for SEARS because they deserve better. SEARS customer service, on the other hand, is a disaster. Everything is run through AI bots instead of real people, and it shows. I had specific questions and kept getting copy‑and‑paste robot answers that didn’t help at all. Three days of PTO wasted because SEARS kept rescheduling after I waited around all day, and I couldn’t reach a single human to fix it. And seriously… an 8am–5pm arrival window? Then at 4:30pm I get a text saying, “Sorry for the inconvenience, let’s reschedule.” That’s not customer service — that’s avoidance. I’ve been buying appliances from SEARS since the 80s, I have their warranty, and I’ve never seen the company care less about the people who keep them in business. Again, the technicians are amazing. But SEARS as a company? Do better. Treat customers with respect. Change your service model or you’re doomed to fail — no brand is too big to ignore customer service forever.

Wanted $871 to replace freezer fan. New fridge would cost $1000. Pricing isn’t a reflection on the service tech. Will not waste time on repairs in the future will just buy new.

The technician was nice, but didn’t recommend repairing a 30YO refrigerator that is in a rental that I’m selling soon. I do take issue with the fact that Sears canceled FOUR appointments on the very day they were due to show up! (I was at home on vacation at the time) Did they offer me anything for the inconvenience? (I had to leave work to meet them) No. No they did not. Did I ask for a discount? Yes I did, but the person on the phone said she couldn’t do that and told me ask the technician who told me he could not do anything either. I just had Sears fix my dryer and I purchased the service package for myself, but was told I couldn’t use it for the rental. I am not pleased with Sears “service.”

Didn’t fix anything. After tech ordered parts that didn’t fix dryer, $441 then suggested replacing motherboard for over $464. Well of course I’m not putting that much money to fix a $1200 dryer. I got scammed by Sears repair services

This is the worst service company I have ever called for a repair our double oven. They say "same day service" I called for service in the morning on 4/30, received an appointment time that same day of 1pm to 4:30pm and no one showed up. Received a text at 9:00pm that night that they had an opening on 5/1, I said YES I want it, No one showed up. A repairman came this morning 5/2 at 8am and gave me a quote for over $921 to replace a touchpad and that was taking off the $129 service charge which would make it an estimated $1050. I'm the Treasury of the HOA in the Autumn Grove Community in Grove City, OH with over 175 homes and I will inform all homeowners to NOT use Sears Appliance Repair because of their very poor service level and outrageous cost. Very Disappointed,

I would give 0 stars if that was possible. This was a dumpster fire. Nothing was repaired. Technician was rude and unwilling to address issues. Wanted a copy of id with our personal information. So now we have no repairs done and need to make another call. So frustrating.

My appliance ran well for three minutes while technician was here and when he left and we put our clothes on the dryer it was noisy than before!

I’ve never left a google review, since it’s negative I’ll just share the facts to be fair. Just hoping to save someone the frustration I experienced. Scheduling was all AI. They no showed on me. Said they could come the next day and when I accepted that, they said it would actually be 4 more days. Gave me an 11 hour window where the would come, and AI text me 5 minutes before end of window to say they wouldn’t make it. When I text back and asked if I would receive a discount they said contact customer service. I did that and it was AI. I asked AI to speak to a person. When they said why, I told them and then they said they had no live reps in their customer service department.
