The service was completed but the communication on the app is very poor. It offers you the option to track 8 hour appt window but gives you no information. No numbers to call is aggravating

We won't a PAPER Receipt, the one you sent can't be printed out, and for some reason is no longer available. Why would you sell appliances that you can no longer get parts for? The next time I need one, it won't be from your store.

This technician when trying to install the drain pump ended up breaking the motor in the dishwasher and was unable to repair the appliance. He was rude and yelled at me about the part breaking and how the other technician should have caught it the first time (this was the second scheduled repair as the part needed to be mailed first).

Fair to poor rating. Did not wear any shoe protection and asked to use the bathroom ten mins into his arrival (very unprofessional).Yay. Seemed to know what he was talking about. Was here approximately 15-20 mins total. That’s it.

I made an appointment for a washing machine repair service, but the technician who came told me he was actually a refrigerator repair specialist. I waited for a long time, and he later said he could take a look at it anyway. After a brief inspection, he concluded that the repair would cost over $700, which is more than the price of a new washing machine. In the end, I was only able to pay the $130 service call fee. The technician did give me a small discount of over $30, but I still feel this situation is unreasonable because he was not originally a washing machine specialist. When I requested a professional technician, he insisted that he was qualified, but he was not initially assigned as a washing machine repair expert. He was only at my place for a short time and did not perform a proper diagnosis, yet I still ended up paying nearly $100.

Frank the technician was phenomenal! Well-informed with a breadth of technical expertise. Solved the problem with our dishwasher. Wish we got him in the beginning as he identified the problem without even having to think about it. Having said that, the Sears Appliance Repair organization is AWFUL! Reaching a human being is trying at best and good luck reaching someone with English as a first language. House calls constantly re-scheduled or delayed for no rhyme or reason. The time suck is REAL and unfortunately you don't get a discount or money back for lost time (in our case it was about 60 hours of using vacation or other time to be home for multiple follow ups that were always rescheduled). Yes, you pay a flat fee, but be prepared to pay out the nose with the currency of time. It turns any successful repair into a Pyrrhic victory. Reminds me of the old Monty Python insurance salesman sketch, where the agent says that it's a great insurance policy as long as you never have to file claim. Epilogue: Sears made the insurance policy cancellation process super easy (though there is a highly shady $25 cancellation fee). I wish everything at Sears home appliance repair was as simple as the policy cancellation process; it may have induced me to stay. Epilogue Part Deux: Dishwasher is leaking again. Problem was not the drain, but the machine. In the spirit of Chrissie Hynde "Ay, oh, way to go, Sears Appliance Repair".

I will rate the technician five out of five stars for the repair that he made. I give your entire experience a zero out of five due to AI communication. I could not speak to A person to clarify the second visit. I could not talk to a real person to reschedule the date. The technician could not call to speak to a person to rectify the Service order number. It had been closed out incorrectly. The fact that there’s never anyone to talk to in your company is abominable. I have loved Sears since I was a little girl. My grandfather worked for Sears and he was an artist for them, my family has been loyal customers of Sears for three generations. The fact that you are making your technicians talk to AI and your customers talk to AI is absurd. I will never again go through this repair service. If you want my loyalty back, you will put real people in real time to handle complex situations. The fact that the technician has to wait for AI to speak to, set his arrival time back for the following customers. I expected my technician between 815 and 9:30 AM. He was not able to arrive until nearly 2:00 PM. The fact that I’ve wasted my whole day and I took the day off makes me quite angry. As I’m sure it might you also. Sears, if you care about your customers and want to win them back and if you care about your workers and want them to be loyal, you will fix this problem and put real people behind a telephone. I hope I have made myself quite clear.

The technician would not answer any of my questions. He reported a leak which there is not a leak at all. He insisted I bought the unit in January and waited until March to have it installed, which I did not and had the purchase history to prove it. The told me my 3 month old unit is no longer under warranty because its last the 7 day installation window even though I have a 1 year warranty on it. He refused to communicate the diagnosis and told me to call LG. LG told me they cannot provide me information until the tech updates the diagnosis in the system.

Not Gerald, but this company is frankly a joke. Scheduling is made, and then multiple no shows, stopping our plans for the day for scheduled service only to be rescheduled, many times. That is why my wife, frankly, refused the service!
