Very terrible. Tech lied and said they came but didn’t. We were sitting waiting (missed work) and we have ring camera footage confirming nobody pulled in the driveway or came to the door. I have been in the phone trying to get them to come for 12 hours. They say they are not authorized to let me speak to a supervisor. They took our money and have no intention of coming to fix anything and there is nobody higher up they will let you talk to. I’ve actually seen now this has happened to millions of people on Reddit. Sears is a total scam operation now apparently.

Zero Stars. We just got the Warrenty a couple of months ago to fix a dishwasher and the initial repair did not fix it. We called a month ago and they canceled the appointment same day. We rescheduled a month later(today) and the technician called and said the dishwasher issue is preexisting and would not be covered. Canceling this service today. Waste of time and money

First let me start off by saying never ever use this company for any home appliance repairs! They know showed me on my first appointment and then drove by my house with me standing in the driveway for the second appointment took a picture of my neighbor's house two houses down then sent me a text message saying I was not home! Complete garbage you cannot get a hold of anybody live no matter what number you call or what you try. Again stay far far away

The technician who came was very cordial, customer oriented, etc but I would hope Sears would send someone with better training and resources than I had. I was charged $130 for him to Google search the issue and determine what I had already done and knew. On top of that, the communication from Sears has been an absolute disaster. I took a whole day off work last Monday for an appointment due to arrive between 12 & 5 pm…at 4:30 pm I finally got a text saying they wouldn’t come that day. Finally they rescheduled for today ((Monday) I asked the tech questions he had to call someone to answer (this is not the techs fault…it’s a SEARS training issue. Communication from Sears promised I could track the techs travel progress to my grouse, yet that didn’t happen. Back in the day Iused to go into Sears stores and end up regretting it…funny now I have the same feeling about Sears service. I’m sure they’ll go the way of the stores soon enough. BTW the tech said he had only been working for Sears a short time. I’m certain he didn’t get much training prior to starting.

They told us to reschedule, which we did for Thursday, but now they've canceled it again. Their lack of professionalism and commitment speaks volumes. I don't recommend them; the food in the refrigerator spoiled. The service people were fine. I had 3 appointments scheduled for 3-10. Got a call at 7pm that night no one was coming. Rescheduled for 3-21 but they ended up scheduling for 3 different days without checking with me. I will now have been tied up for 3 days for something that should have been done in 1 day. Not very customer friendly.

This place is an absolute joke. Want to spend your whole day waiting just for no one to show up. Then look no further. Keep in mind this is three weeks after our into Al appointment was scheduled. No way to communicate with the local company at all to see if they even plan on coming. Customer service is atrocious. Very disrespectful of your time.

Very responsive to scheduling diagnostics and repairs. Not responsive after that. Had a tech come out on 12/10/24 to diagnose a broken refrigerator and gave me an estimate for repair. He said I needed to pay half to schedule an appointment for the repair, but that I could cancel if I changed my mind and would be issued a refund. I made the payment, and scheduled an appointment for 12/30/24. Two days later decided to just get a replace the refrigerator can canceled the appoint. A refund never came. So I called on 12/30 because, apparently, I had to request the refund. It has now been 2 months since then and still no refund and zero communication. I have called several times and, each time, am told all they can do is email the billing department to get a status and I just have to wait. Today, I requested to talk to a manager. When transferred, no one answered. This is the first and last time I will use Sears Home Services. Absolutely terrible customer service. Edit 3/2/25: I have contacted Transformco via the email provided and will update with their response/resolution. Edit: 3/15/25: A rep from Transformco called me and left a message on 3/3 saying she had my refund and it would take a day or two. I just checked my credit card statement and saw that the refund posted on 3/4. So the company responded and acted quickly after either I posted this review or made a complaint with BBB (not sure which prompted the response), but it should not have gotten to this point. There needs to be better communication, both within the company and between the company and customers.
