Stood us up on first day scheduled and no human to speak to so could not call and get any live updates other than app saying they are coming (they did not). I gave them a second chance and serviceman was nice and came as scheduled at second try. Had to order parts and was too expensive so buying a new dryer.

I scheduled a repair appointment for today between 1-5pm. Estimated arrival time updated around 4pm to 5:30 then shortly after to 6:06. The arrival time has not changed on my details and it’s 7:20 as I am writing this review. I called the store and there is no option to talk to anyone to ask for updates on arrival time. I understand that sometimes things get backed up and the appointment time can change but there should at be some sort of communication whether text, email, or phone call to allow the customer to know what’s going on.

ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE Buyer beware, they say the trip fee is refunded if you agree to the service recommended. They added the trip fee to the cost of parts and service. Did not have the part, scheduled for next day, then sent a text to reschedule, wha/why? No live agent!. I called 10 times and got the same info from AI, your tech is scheduled today between hours…, but the initial recording says, I see you have an appointment that needs to be rescheduled. Buyer Beware! This company scammed me out of the service fee. When scheduling the appointment I was told if a repair was done the service fee would be deducted. This was not true! The technician told me the service fee was already factored into the quote. The quote to fix my dryer included a $60 part and a $300 labor fee. The technician told me it would be an easy fix and recommended I do the repair myself so I asked why the high labor cost and he couldn’t answer. I ended up ordering the part and doing the repair myself. It took me, an unskilled 60+ person watching YouTube videos, about an hour to fix. Who makes $300 an hour, not me! I will never use this company again.

I was told I will receive an estimate for the parts and labor and asked to pay for the service visit and just received a receipt for service $129. I did not receive the estimate. When asked the technician on site he told to call the customer care which is initially answered by AI-chatbot and later says it will connect to real agent to give the estimate, I was on the call for around 1-hr and it did hang up on me. I will dispute for the fraud charges. No diagnostic equipment was on the site to test the motor or the circulation pump. My name on the service order is also wrong. No chat is working to get it fixed or proper customer service is available

They came out to fix my washer didn’t fix it charged me $140. Then when I called to have them to return back out, they said they have no record of my service.

Repair team told us that we could fix the oven ourselves - but charged us the visit fee. We were unable to fix ourselves (required wiring work, that we neither had the tools or confidence to complete). We had the team come out again & they refused to waive the initial fee. We essentially paid twice for the job to be done once & felt like the repair team misled us. Oven was fixed sufficiently, but overall experience with Sears Appliance Repair was disappointing. I'll be using other vendors going forward.

The technician was very short with me and didn’t take the time to explain anything. When I asked what tests he ran or what he did, he just said “I ran all the tests” without offering any real details. It felt dismissive and unprofessional especially when I was just trying to understand what was going on with my appliance. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for.

The repair person did a great job. He was quick and clean up. I'm not satisfied with the way Sears schedule a tech to finish repairs. They rescheduled four times. It took Sears almost two weeks to get my refrigerator fixed
