After 2no-shows for service appointments (where I waited from 8 am until 6 pm at home), I was told the issue was the tubing from my dryer to the outside vent and Sears didn’t cover this. Don’t bother using them

The store is no longer brick and mortar. Everything is online. I drove 1 hour and 15 minutes to find that out.

The service provided was one of the most unprofessional I have experienced. The tech was rude and yelled across the house with questions instead of being courteous and walking into my office down the hall. As provided with the pictures, he couldn't even finish the repair and left screws un-done and scratched my replacement item. I am pretty livid about this type of service and one star is too much. It's a shame since the first tech who came to our house the first 3 times was awesome and the one that actually finished the repair should not be employed as a repair tech. Not being able to replace 2 screws shows that he was incompetent and needs to find a different type of work.

Basically had the attitude that no matter what it wasn't worth fixing. First he said compressor was out and I said any way to rule that out. He then checked inverter which controls compressor and determined it was bad. Then couldn't even find the part. Fridge is 2 years old. Then left the entire back off of unit and parts unhooked and left. Had the nerve to ask if i wanted to buy warranty for my other appliances. Cpuldnt even fix this simple item. Avoid this company at all costs only interested in selling warranty.

This is fake. After you create an appointment they will not show up. They will ask you for your credit card prior to an appointment… refuse to give it and say you will pay after service. They will never show up. If you try to reach them, you will call out of country and they will get so frustrated with the automated responses they will hang up. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!! They are scamming!

I WOULD NOT EVER USE SEARS REPAIR SERVICE IF THEY WERE THE ONLY REPAIR COMPANY AROUND. I WOULD PURCHASE NEW APPLIANCES BEFORE GOING THROUGH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. THE GUY CAME OUT MAY 10 th TO SERVICE MY DRYER, FIRST OF ALL HE DIDN’T APPEAR TO KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING OR WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. HE HAD TO CALL AND HAVE SOMEONE WALK HIM THROUGH THE STEPS TO PROPERLY DIAGNOSE THE DRYER. HE THEN SAY HE THINKS IT’S THE PUSH BUTTON THAT STARTS THE DRYER OR IT COULD BE THE DRYER DOOR. ( 1st of all u don’t get paid for thinking you get paid for KNOWING) I OPTED AND PAID SEARS TO DO THE REPAIR. MY APPOINTMENT WAS MAY 22nd, THINKING BY HIS ASSUMPTION THAT THERE WAS TWO PARTS NEEDED. UPS DELIVERED ONE PART A COUPLE DAYS LATER. MAY 22nd CAME AND I TOOK A PTO DAY TO BE HOME FOR THE REPAIR. MY WINDOW SLOT WAS BETWEEN 8am -12pm. NEVER HEARD ONE FORM OF COMMUNICATION FROM THE GUY WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DOING THE REPAIR AND NEVER HEARD FROM SEARS ABOUT THE REPAIR. I CALLED OVER 7 TIMES NOT BEING ABLE TO GET ANY RESOLUTION. I THEN PRETEND AS IF I WAS WANTING SERVICE FOR THE FIRST TIME. THE GUY SHOWED UP IN 20 mins, BY NOW IT’S AFTER 4pm. HE WAS CONFUSED ABOUT HOW HE GOT A TICKET FOR SERVICE WHEN I WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE A REPAIR DONE. I HAD TO MAKE A FALSE APPOINTMENT TO GET SOMEONE FROM SEARS TO COME OUT WHEN I WAS SCHEDULED AND THEY WERE ALREADY PAID, MONEY HAD ALREADY BEEN TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT. HE REALIZE WHAT THE COMPANY DID AND TRIED TO DO THE REPAIR SINCE HE WAS ALREADY AT MY HOUSE. THE PART ORDERED FROM THE FIRST GUY AND HIS ASSUMPTION THINKING SELF WAS NOT EVEN THE RIGHT PART. (AND THAT WASNT EVEN WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY DRYER). NEEDLESS TO SAY SEARS TRIED RIPPING ME OFF. I HAD TO GET MY BANK INVOLVED TO GET MY MONEY BACK IN WHICH WAS A GIFT FROM MY SON FOR MOTHERS DAY. TODAY MAY 23 2024 I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD ONE SINGLE THING FROM ANYONE AT SEARS. VERY VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, LIARS, AND A RIP OFF. I DONT KNOW AT THIS POINT IF SEARS IS A LEGIT COMPANY. IT APPEARS TO BE A FRAUD. IF THE REVIEW COULD BE LESS THAN 1 IT WOULD BE NEGATIVE ZERO!!!

Representative had a bad, unprofessional, and somewhat aggressive attitude that I really didn't appreciate, and further more wanted to charge me the full price ($742.00) without having done ANY repairs! Whether or not this is company policy is irrelevant since no one should have to pay money "UP FRONT" before whatever problem they're having is rectified, otherwise what's the incentive for Sears to complete the job "correctly"?
