Our technician, Darryl, was great. Everything else was subpar. They do everything through AI now which messed up our scheduling and was difficult to work with. They also advertise through a company that is called something like "USA repairs" but it leads you straight to Sears, which is misleading. I'm sure AI will respond to this...

Horrible. Started out fine I guess. Tech came on time and determined I needed a new fan in freezer. Ordered from Amazon. Talked me into getting Sears Protection Plan for all my appliances since my furnace is also not working. Set up new appt. Part came and different tech came. He didn’t even try to put in new part just decided that wasn’t the right part and ordered another part from Amazon. Another appt set. Same tech came and put in second part. Didn’t even reset fridge or wait to see if it worked. Guess what. Fridge still not working. He took original part with him. So now I’ve paid for original$500 part and website won’t let me set up appt for furnace. Tried calling number and can’t get a human to talk to 😡😡😡

your technician didn't fix my refrigerator but instead broke my water line then he left. I need someone to call me - I can't find any number ANYWHERE that doesn't send me directly to an AI attendant. I need someone to contact me ASAP - if you leave a number as a comment, I can call you right away. Water everywhere - and still a broken refrigerator. I did get response on this review but the phone number you provided sends me to an IA attendant and there is no way to get to an individual - please provide me a number that actually works. I am very dissatisfied and need resolution.

Poor communication about ETA. Technician was clueless and did not fix the issue. Initial call to address this issue was in May; it's still not completed. Poor communication between Home Warranty company and technicians.

I spent $600 on a refrigerator repair with Sears Appliance. After 2 no shows for appointments the tech finally showed up to "repair" my fridge. After 45 days my fridge stopped cooling again. When I contacted Sears I was told they would come back out and diagnose it for a $129 service fee. I ended up having another company fix the problem. The joint was not soddered correctly and the refrigerant leaked out of the system. $400 later my fridge is working thanks to Mr Appliance. Stay far away from Sears. You can see in the picture the refrigerant that leaked out from the incorrect repair.

This place is horrible! They completely messed up me being able to be reimbursed by my home warranty company. I 100% believe they did this on purpose. When we asked the technician to call our home warranty company to tell them what was wrong with the fridge he said he could not do that and to call Sears. You cannot reach a live agent when you call this place. Finally after jumping through 1000 hoops we talked to a supervisor who said he would send us what was needed. This was never done and we could not reach a live person again in time. They want you to buy their home warranty so they refuse to work with any outside warranty companies. It should never be this hard to reach a live person at a company.

You can only communicate with an AI chat bot. We have had two no show tech appointments. Nearing the end of the time slot we get a reschedule text message after we have already waited 7 hours. We even took off work for these appointments since the time given for a tech to show up is 8-5p.
