Tim was good! I am not a fan of Sears service schedule. 8-5 windows are not good. The service department tells the customer to expect a call the day of with a 4 hour window. I never have received one. Techs may give you a text with a window, but it changes a few times during the day. I wasted an entire day again, waiting for a tech. If you can get other service besides Sears, I recommend doing that.

Sears came out to replace a large part that had frozen over in the refrigerator. We were told to unplug the fridge for 2 days to allow it to thaw. The part got replaced. The repairman dried up a bit of water where the crisper drawers normally are, plugged in the fridge & left. He never told me there should be more water nor where this water would drain to. We then started noticing an odor coming from the fridge, although it was empty. Finally, thru blind luck, I discovered standing, dirty water under the center drawer in a separate part of the refrigerator! The repairman works on refrigerators, not us. I don’t expect him to have cleaned it up, but he should have shown me where the water drained to & how to access it.

Our service guy, Todd, came out twice, the first time he replaced the pump, that wasn’t the problem. The second time he came and replaced the motherboard, the lid lock, and the hardware. And assured us that the washing machine was functional when he left. I went to do a load today, and the machine turns on, but won’t start a cycle

Joseph did an excellent job. However, your customer service was terrible. It took you a month to finally repair the refrigerator. The installation time was fifteen minutes, but the quote was $170!!! Thank God it was covered by the warranty

I'm not sure if a 2-star rating is fair, but this was my experience. I called for a low oven temperature issue. The oven was already set to 350 to replicate the problem of low oven temperature. He was on his phone to get assistance with possible causes and did nothing with the oven. He went to his car for 15 or so minutes and came back in wanting a signature for a repair of $1400. I asked how he came to that conclusion, and it was based on my observations. I have an LG oven, so I don't know if there are diagnostics that could've been run on the unit. I can buy a new oven for that price, so I declined the repair. The experience was lackluster. I'm sure the repairman is good at his job, but I'll likely not call Sears Appliance Repair in the future.

The repairmen for both the estimate and repair were first rate. As far as getting our refrigerator back up and running, the service was atrocious. It took a full week to get a service person here to diagnose the issue then took nearly a month for another person to come back and do the actual repair. PS. Our problem was a malfunctioning Fridgidaire Refrigerator.
