Rich the service tech did a great job. A&E business needs work done. You cannot call them and reach a person. I have a home warranty. I also have a stacked washer and dryer. They will not remove dryer, I realize this is a problem with the warranty company also. I am trying to work on the problem. What good is a policy that I have to remove something to get it fixed. I would understand if it was a built in. That would be like getting a brake job but I have to remove the wheels.

Pleasant and even though he could not find the screws the other technician left behind, Kevin had some and the freezer is cooling. Will see in a week or so if holds up! Thank you.

After several rounds of back and forth, the problem was finally diagnosed correctly. A repair was ordered and arrived quickly. The previous tech incorrectly diagnosed the problem resulting in a severe delay in geting the refrigerator fixed.

Dishwasher is now not working again -not fixed -glad I waited almost 3 months for this warranty appt -3 months -stopped during the cycle like it did before Glad I paid so much money for an extended warranty

My recent experience with Sears Home Repair has been extremely disappointing. There is no way to reach a live representative—everything is routed through an automated/AI system, making it very difficult to get real assistance when issues arise. The technician did not complete a thorough diagnosis and instead appeared to make an assumption about the problem rather than waiting to observe the washer through multiple cycles to confirm the issue firsthand. After paying the diagnostic fee because I believed the tech, I’m still left with a broken washer and no clear path to resolution. The lack of access to a real person to address concerns only adds to the frustration. I also noticed that responses to other negative reviews simply direct customers back to the same automated phone system, which does not resolve the underlying problem. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company.

My recent experience with Sears Home Repair has been extremely disappointing. There is no access to a live agent, and everything is routed through an AI agent, which repeatedly insists that appointments are scheduled—even when they clearly are not. The technician was unable to diagnose a straightforward issue, and instead suggested replacing multiple parts “to see what works,” which feels like a waste of time, money, and resources. It gave the impression that they prefer trial‑and‑error over actual troubleshooting. Scheduling has been another major problem. They set appointments multiple times, and never showed up. After waiting more than five hours, the AI system still claimed the appointment was active, while another agent sent a message saying it was canceled. The lack of coordination is unbelievable. Overall, I’m not sure what kind of work ethic this company is operating under. Between the missed appointments, the inability to diagnose basic issues, and the confusing communication, I cannot recommend this service.
