July 2021 Samsung gas clothes dryer stopped turning over. Edwin from VIM called me an hour or so after I called in a repair request to Sears Appliance Repair to tell me he was just finishing a job in the area and it was his last job of the day, he was just assigned my ticket from Sears, would I like him to come over and diagnose it right now instead of waiting two days for my appointment? Of course! He came, diagnosed and replaced a faulty thermocouple, took about an hour as the easy and more common casues were eliminated and he had to take the drum out. He explained the thermocouple was there to shut off operation if the appliance is overheating. He also checked the air flow from the outside of the house and cleaned lint from the external duct hood grate. He cancelled my appointment for me. Edwin has serviced my appliances before and he is knowledgeable, communicates if asked and focused on doing a good job. Perfect service.

I was happy the problem was remedied quickly and professionally. I feel the visit could be quickened if your billing and contracting could use an iPad instead of a phone which had too much trouble gaining WiFi access.

The repair tech called to confirm my appointment showed up early in the day, reset my washer and ran a test load, and was finished in about 30 minutes. The experience was great.
