I had a very knowledgeable repair man for my Maytag washing machine. Good first time experience with Sears' repair service.

Pamela C,
While the repairman was top notch the cost was RIDICULOUS. Over $700 quoted for a part and literally a 30 second installation. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Service what efficient. Price is too high and warranty is insignificant. I paid $450 to have an igniter replaced warranted for 30 days.
Alex A,
Customer service response - We're glad to hear the service was efficient, Alex. We apologize for any concerns regarding the pricing and warranty, and appreciate your feedback.

There is no way to contact a human for customer service. It took more than 1 month to get the required part for my electric dryer and the part that was finally put in was refurbished. The warranty is only for 30 days so if the part fails on day 31, I will have spent $580 dollars for nothing. I will never use this service company again.
Irene H,
Customer service response - We apologize for the inconvenience, Irene. We appreciate your feedback and will work to improve our customer service and parts availability.

The technician, Wayne, was knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. He communicated about the process and ensured my reservation was connected to the previous work order so I would not be billed twice. I appreciated his effort to keep the new appointment I scheduled and get the job done. I would give 4 stars if not for the technical difficulties and the excessive (6 weeks) time I had to wait for the repair to be completed. Thank you, Wayne!
R. V,
Customer service response - Thank you for recognizing Wayne's hard work and professionalism. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the technical difficulties and the extended wait time.

Had a sears home service repair for my Kenmore Dishwasher. Scheduling the appointment was easy and in fact they called two days before the scheduled appointment to ask if the serviceman could actually reschedule for a day earlier, which was fine. The serviceman arrived within the time frame, called to say he was on his way and asked for directions. He opened the filter/drain, in the bottom of my dishwasher, pulled out several bristles from a nylon brush fell apart in the dishwasher and prevented the water from draining and charged $122.00! The whole process took less than 15 minutes, did not require part replacement and did not require him to excessively exert himself. The agreed upon service fee, regardless of the service, was $59.00 (reduced to $59.00 because I had a $20.00 coupon), so he charged $63.00 to open the drain area and remove the nylon bristles. While I am pleased with the work, I definitely think the fee was excessive. I will think twice before I call Sears home service again because of their price
