The repair person was very pleasant, however, the new compressor he installed is louder than a 747 at takeoff and it doesn't cool the freezer. So I have to find the experience unsatisfactory.

The technician was not interested in fixing the machine. He first said there was NOTHING wrong with my washer. He VIDEOED the wash cycle and I thought that was very strange. I told him the LF error message. I had to chase them to order the parts. I had to wait weeks for the parts to come in. On the day of the install, he never showed up. I called back and asked what happened and they said he closed out the ticket and I have to call Sears again and start all over. I waited a month, a repair man came, billed sears for parts & labor that I never got and dosen't have the decency to come back and fix it! IT IS FRAUD AND A BIG SCAM!

Terrible experience. They say their diagnosis is free but it's not. They over charge you for anything and just couldn't fix anything. They cam three times and my AC system are still not working. It's a hot summer. Can you imagine? I am still struggling with them. The worst experience in my life. It seems that they are playing a scam with a license!

My 2 year old Kenmore Elite refrigerator stopped cooling and freezing. It takes over 4 days to get an appointment. They have a diagnostic feature, which you cannot use unless you pay their $49 / a month service contract. I told Sears that another technician said that it was an evaporator coil leak and asked how much that would cost to repair. Sears did not give an estimate. They also said that after they did an assessment, I would need to wait for the part to be ordered and once it came in, then they would schedule the follow up visit. That is at least 3 weeks without a refrigerator. Kenmore is no longer listed with Consumer Reports as a recommended buy. Furthermore, I believe Sears has changed their business model to building low quality products and charging $588 a year to support those low quality products.

Horrible costumer service! It’s no wonder Sears had to file for bankruptcy. I bout a refrigerator less than 5 years ago from them and it has needed repair a total of 9 times.. Two weeks ago we had repair #8 and this morning it stopped working completely again.. March 24, 2022 all of our food spoiled over night. kenmore Elite model #. Purchased in 2018!!! .. this refrigerator was repaired by sears 3 weeks ago and it is not cooling again .. too or bottom.. and the customer service representative had the nerve to laugh when I said that I was going to report it to the better business bureau. Her reply was to join the rest. Outrageous. Here I am again since Sunday without a refrigerator.. trying keep Food for my family of 6 from mini coolers.. I’ve been on hold with customer service and wrote letter to Sears corporate! No one seems to care they already have my money and 4.5 years of paying insurance. This refrigerator should have been replaced . For all the different parts that have been repaired and it’s still not functioning.. and they many days off that I’ve had to take —Will never do business again.

This is a scam!!! They lie about the pricing. Don’t sign up for the service contract. It’s very hard to cancel and it’s very hard to speak to someone from customer service.

My dishwasher broke and is under a Protection Plan. The technician who check the dishwasher was courteous and knowledgeable. But, may be his fault or not, did not consider the protection plan, so he had to charge me - almost as much as I paid for the protection plan. May be not his fault, but Sears says the service and Protection Plan I have been sold are not connected. In fact, they now have to come back again and start from scratch.

My freezer went down on Sunday. I was scheduled for a reapir on Thursday between the 8 and 12, it miraculously became 2 to 6. No repairman showed. Called Sears, they said they'd get on it. Called again was given number of contractor, why do I have to do work? Called no answer. Warranty seems useless. Customer service horrible.

Had to wait 3 weeks for my washing machine repair. Had a window set between 10:00 and 2:00. I had to take a day off from work so I also scheduled a dr appointment at 3:00. They sent numerous texts reminding me of date and time. When the day finally arrived I received a call from the technician saying he would be there at 2:50. I had to cancel the appointment and booked the service with a different company. Only had to wait 3 days for fast, reliable service.
