The 5 stars is for the service of the technician who came, NOT the service provided by Sears. Their service was horrible, unacceptable, despicable, disrespectful, and disgusting! Sears canceled 2 prior appointments and caused me to lose 2 days of work waiting for a tech who never showed up. I don’t plan to ever use Sears again, and I am seriously considering canceling my American Home Shield contract. Vendors cannot treat customers any kind of way and think it is OK.

I think $100 extra for each appliance at every service call plus the high cost of the insurance is a bit much. I’ve had Sears for many years and never had to pay $100 extra for each appliance. I had my washer and dryer serviced today and had to pay $200. Yes the service is good and the tech was great and knowledgeable but it is very costly. I only need insurance for my washer and dryer.
